I buy any random game if it look's interesting and is cheap. I'm also working on a few sets. And I always keep my eye out for specific games that I want to play.
Sometimes it's hard to focus in on one specific goal.

 

I collect NES hang tab boxes. Only need 3 more. A lot of the non black box games are a bitch to find, and even more so if you are looking for them with intact hang tabs. And way more so if you are looking for NM+ condition.

good luck, megaman was what got me started collecting, and i had every other mega man game except soccer for nearly a decade before i came across a copy since i saw it new in the cheap KB toys NES bin infront of the register.

Mostly pick up just whatever I can here, though I have been wanting to finish up the Pal PlayStation doublecased games

I make a list, then when it gets small I'll try and add a bunch more of games/different systems to get. I like to have a list of games I want for each system so I can always have lots of options of what to buy. I guess lately though I've been trying to knock off the PS1 RPGS, Currently at 34/77 that I want.

Just finished by loose black box collection for nes and now working on the funtastic consoles for n64.

Finishing up my collection, mostly just a few expensive items. I'm not into collecting full sets of anything. I have another 15 items on my WTB list until I'm done as far as retro goes.

I've been trying to get every pinball game for NES. Is there anything that I have missed? Here is what I have so far:

Rock 'n' Ball
Pinball (Black Box)

Right now I'm doing the $25-$50 nes games, if that counts as a subset. My nes collection stopped growing a while back so a few paychecks ago I decided no matter what, I buy one cart in this range per week.

I completed my DW/DQ subset and will probably be doing Metroid next as it is very affordable.

Im working on the DQ/DW main series games right now. Got 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, and 9. 7 and 8 are being remade for the 3DS, so all I need is DW 3 for NES and I should be good.

Actually, only about 60.  And only 67 licensed games show up above that. This is loose only mind you, and with many unlicensed\non retail removed. The cut off point for too cheap is Pool of Radiance (GRR @ bad port), it's showing as 24.99 currently, and is game 126.  The spreadsheet I'm looking over has 735 entries, with a lot of unlicensed and hardware below the $25 mark. 

I'm trying to get all Raya Systems games CIB for SNES. I think I just need Bronty and I'm all done.

I'm now 2 pieces away from having a CIB NES Mega Man set.

before I get more into the n64 library I'm trying to get all Rare games complete. sucks that Conker is still so expensive, i just need the game + box

Just need descent Street Fighter II Majesco box and manual for a SNES Majesco Sales CIB subset.
