Robin - I may try to get on sometime this weekend. I'll be honest...I really dislike playing with the keyboard. So my interest will be tied directly to how the play feels with the Tankstick.

Well, duh, that's the point

We're all within a couple tetrises of getting a perfect 18. But NOBODY has come close to throwing down the gauntlet and actually getting a perfect game at 19. But LVL 19, HIGH 0, is definitely beatable if you use any and all means necessary to survive.

Once in a great while, I'll start at Level 19 in Game A mode. I want to say that my highest line count is 62, but I can pretty much guarantee there were no tetrises in that game.

Correction.  I recorded my lines record in a very old computer file that I saved, and my record number of lines for Game A starting on Level 19 is... 84.  Again, I likely had no tetrises in that game (I was probably going for as many lines as I could get).

Yeah, getting a tetris in 19 requires the planets to be in a very specific alignment.

Wow, you guys are amazing. I've gotta easily be the weakest Tetris player on the planet, I tried for the hell of it, though already knew I wouldn't do well, playing Game B, starting out on Level 0, each time I beat a level I started again on the next level up, until I failed too many times to beat Level 9, then I gave up, only beaten level 9 once ever. But I did manage to get my highest scores yet, my highest so far for Level 7. I'm just not good at these kinda games, I take too long deciding, also have trouble lining the falling blocks up properly with the blocks on the bottom of the screen, too many times I put a block in the wrong place because I misjudged where I thought I was slamming it down at, even when the speed is slow, kinda makes me relate this to how I write if I don't have lines to guide me, I end up having sentences curving up or down on the paper. Tetris is not for me, I should've competed in the last two though, could've done decently well in those, maybe the next one'll be up my alley.

Hey, but according to the game, I'm a Tetris master! Not.

If the game says you're a Tetris Master, it MUST be true!

Don't feel bad, though. I've seen a number of your submissions in the "Beaten games" thread that would make most gamers crap in their pants.

this is the man.

his name is jonas. for a while i was trying to get him to match up against thor.... hasnt happened yet. i know a guy who didnt believe that he maxed out (999,999) starting on level 19, so he went and saw it in person. video quality is crappy, but you get the picture.

Robin - that guy is good, but he still has to make moves that would prevent a "perfect" B-Type game at LVL 19. I'm not saying that's impossible, but I think skill is less of a factor than LUCK at that level trying to get 7 tetrises in a row.

OMG!!! i cant believe this, there is the best tetris player i have ever seen.....

That Jonas guy definitely kicks butt.  Based on his 'vision' and quick reactions to the next piece, I'd say he could definitely pull off a level 19 height 0 game with all tetrises.  It really only is a matter of time until you get the blocks you need to pull it off.  Even though he clears some single or double lines in the video, when you know you have to get all tetrises, it makes you play slightly different.

I've been on Blockles 2 times now.  I'll never know ahead of time when I will pop on, but the best chance to find me would likely be between 9pm-12am central time.
