Hi guys,

Im from Mexico city, and my english is not the best,  i hope you can understand me.

My step dad used to have a video game store, well it wasnt just videogames but movies and toys too, this was in the 90s, he closed the store long time ago and started a different bussines.

I remember i asked him that time if he had some stuff left, like games or consoles, and he said no, that he returned all the merchandise,  and only keep the rental stuff, wich was loose games and stuff, he gaveme tons of Snes games and nes too so i was happy. I wasnt collecting games or something, it was just to play them and have fun.

Years passed, and recently he had to sell some propertys (house and another building) so they had to clean up all the stuff that was there. Me and my brother went there to help and what we found was amazing.

Many Nes and Snes sealed games in big nintendo boxes, (Sadly no N64 or other consoles).
Some of them are the same, (For example 5 Double Dragon)

I can post pictures of the loot, or individual games if you want, i just want to have an idea of how much is this worth? im not trying to rip off my step dad or something, i already told him that this is valuable stuff and he was really surprised.

We counted:

73 Unique Sealed NES games, (different tittles) and many copies of the same.
102 Unique Sealed SNES Games. (same, plus many copies of the same) Some of them are separated in boxes, like Mario RPG it says its in spanish GAMELA, something like that but we opened it because there were 4 of them and i wanted to play it, and the game is in English, just the manual was in Spanish. There are other examples of this.

Popular games we found from NES are megaman 4 and 6, mario Bros 3, mario bros 2, star tropics, Castlevania, Waldo Search, Bill and Tell, and many others.

From SNES, Mario RPG, Contra 3, Super Gouls and Ghouls, Castlevania, Killer Instinct, Robocop and terminator (this is a very cool case, like metal but its hard black plastic, instead of a normal box), and many many others.

I can post pictuires of individual games, i just want to have an idea of the value of all this, my idea is to sell them as a loot if possible, i live in Sinaloa,Mexico if any of you is visiting Mexico you are welcome to check it yourself.  Thankyou.

Going to definitely need some pictures. The more the better, and the more detailed the better. Definitely post pictures of the front and back of the big name titles (Mega Mans, Mario RPG, Castlevanias) so we can see if they are legit sealed and their condition.

Always looking for early issues of these magazines: GameFan, Tips and Tricks, Electronic Gaming Monthly.

Yup, you'll need pics on these. I imagine you'll have a lot of interest if they are legit.

Hey guys, thanks for the kind words, i took some pictures and ill upload them in a bit, i did a quick inventory too and ill post it but im sure im missing some games, so this willbe preliminary list ok? and its only SNES for now.

I realized some games have a big Sticker in one of the sides, (mostly sport tittles) with the words "No aceptar producto si este sello esta violado" wich means "do not accept if seal is brokenn". Only a few games have these, and the wrap have a Gamela print on them. Wich i belive was the distributor or somethin.

Luckyly, popular games like Mario RPG and Killer instinct dont have that big sticker, you will see it, i took some pictures as request.

If you've got legitimately sealed copies of Super Copa, I dare say you'll make a small fortune, to say nothing of the SNES Mega Mans.

Please let me give you some $$ thousands of dollars advice.

Do Not open any game. Do Not sell them as a lot. Make sure nothing gets crushed.

Search on ebay or google for completed auctions.

Last but not least, google this number: 221044769098 and click on the first link.

Please PM me if you have one or all of them for sale. While I like nice condition, I am interested in anything 7/10ish up.

You and your stepdad are gonna be rich!

I'd go slow with the sales though to protect the value. Example: lowball offer and you accept for the quick cash and could have sold for much much more if you sell it the right way.

I wish you good luck and hope you are able to make good profit on these.

UPDATE:

Illbe honest, i didnt post the NES game list because i belive some of them are reseal, or pirate carts, Yesterday i was talking to someone and he requested pictures of the back of the games, he asked for horizontally line across the back of the box and thats when i realized some games dont have this kind of seal, they dont have a line at all, for example Tetris and another 9 in one game.

I have 73 different sealed NES games, ill post and example of the games that have the line in the back, as you can see they have a sticker in the back with a price from a local mall shop called "LEY"

I opened one of the duplicated and it was new:

So for those of us ignorant on the subject, were English language versions of SNES games that were sent to Mexico different from their American counterparts or are they the same game?

If you really do have those NES games sealed, you'd be making a HUGE mistake rushing to get a deal done.

Slow down, listen to many, many offers, and you'll net yourself a small fortune.
