Toying around with the idea of selling my loose N64 set. I know what gvn has it at but that feels low to me. Assuming clean carts what's the "right " number for a full set? Anyone heard of one being sold recently?

Are you talking selling your set as a whole or each game individually?

If you think the 4700 loose price on GVN is low your really going to be disappointed when you try and sell it. The typically sell for less then 4 and usully around 3500.

Not to mention how difficult it can be to move a whole set at once, I'd say 3500 would be fair

Yeah, people taking the whole thing are are going to want a bulk deal. The GVN value would be individual sales.

Fair enough, I guess in addition to condition issues I figured reproductions had made their way into those averages a bit. Didnt dive in too deep but that doesn't appear to be the case with sculptors cut at least.

Looks like someone's going to be holding on to their fullset for a little while longer!

Keep in mind the other factor about a full n64 set is, its not really that hard to complete loose. Its less then 300 games and there's really only a few games that are expensive. I finished it in less then a year and a lot of the cheaper titles, probably 1/3 or more I was able to get at bulk rates for very cheap.

I had listed mine locally around feb for $4000 it has no marker, no stickers and no damaged shells it's really a very nice shape collection. As far as serious offers like 3 at 3000 and one for 3300.  I didn't really negotiate though I was firm at 4 and only looking to do the deal for cash and within about an hour of my home.  If you look at gvn the 50 or so highest priced games(basically everything over $20) are around $2800 and just based on the messages I was geting from people wanting specific games stunt racer, conker, mario party, etc. you could easily move the majority of those 50 locally and get almost 2800.  Then you have another 250 games that worst case you could go 25 games for $100 and probably get another 1000.  I have my set and would still sell for 4000 but for like 3-3500 you should consider just splitting it up yourself.

Good advice here. There hasn’t been a time I wouldn’t pay at least $4 for an N64 game, even if it’s a crappy sports title I’ll never play. Although I buy a lot in game stores, which have a lot of overhead, buying from some random on Craigslist I may try to get $2-$3 per game for filler.
