I was wondering if you guys could help me compile a list for something I'm working on. I'm not the most knowledgeable on all the unreleased NES games that have surfaced, but I want to try and list out
1-Unreleased classic NES / Famicom Games (1994 or earlier)
2-Prototype games with known alternate music in them.

Since this is music related, please be specific if you know of differences between a prototype and commercial release. Here's what we have so far:

1. Unreleased Games
-Adventures of Dr. Franken
-Airball
-Buzz and Waldog
-California Raisins
-CrossFire
-Drac's Night Out
-Erik the Viking
-Hero Quest
-Pescatore
-Poke Block
-Robocop vs The Terminator
-Secret Ties
-Star Trek V: The Final Frontier
-Sunman
-Thomas the Tank Engine
-Time Diver Eon Man
-Titan Warriors
-Xybots
(there are more, read below. I'm inquiring about NSFs for them. These all have NSFs)

2. Prototype Alternates
-Batman (different ending tune I believe, and a couple other tracks...)
-DuckTales (different transylvania, moon themes)

The prototype alternate Batman game is way different. All the cutscenes and the ending were changed. The proto had Vicki Vale in it and more references to the movie. I'm not sure how legit it is, I don't have a copy, just saw some vids of it.

Thanks! That's a handy resource!

As far as DuckTales goes, I have no idea about the proto cart itself, only that I've seen the NSF for it. A quick search yields someone else talking about how its differences are well documented, but you dont' see anything about that- http://www.nesplayer.com/prototyp...

The moon theme is the same but slower, so that's not the most interesting, but there is an entirely different Transylvania song-

I can't find NSFs for the following (I'll be sure to mention these over at NESdev):
-Bashi Bazook: Morphoid Masher
-Dragon Wars
-Escape From Atlantis
-Exerion (I'll have to double check, but I believe the one I have is the commercial JP version)
-Free Fall
-Happy Camper
-Hit the Ice
-Mike Ditka's Big Play Football
-Squashed
-Tower of Radia
-Uforce Power Games

Do Earthbound/ Mother, Makai Island, Jack the Giant Slayer, Mike Tyson's Intergalactic Power Punch, and Taro's Quest all have the same music as the commercial releases that did come out? I think we can also cross Mickey Mouse Dream Balloon off the list, since there is the original Famicom release and the Kid Klown port. Scarbeus doesn't have music so we can pass on that one too.

I have located the soundtracks for:
-Adventures of Dr. Franken
-Airball
-Buzz and Waldog
-California Raisins
-CrossFire
-Drac's Night Out
-Poke Block
-Robocop vs The Terminator
-Secret Ties
-Star Trek V: The Final Frontier
-Sunman
-Thomas the Tank Engine
-Time Diver Eon Man (I had already tagged an NSFE for this, funny I forgot about it)
-Titan Warriors
-Xybots

I'm most excited on Thomas the Tank Engine! I thought I had tagged all the NES soundtracks by the Follin Bros. Awesome. Secret Ties is probably the best of this batch too...

Anyone know if Secret Ties is in anyway linked to Golgo 13 and Mafat Conspiracy? I've been meaning to check out Secret Ties for a while, sorry if the question is a bit off topic.

I got this response from NESdev-

Free Fall - No NSF yet.
"Free Fall is to be under Fish Fall via the 3-in-1 Cart (Menace Beach/Sunday Funday, 4Him The Ride and Fish Fall) by Wisdom Tree/Color Dreams"

Happy Camper - No NSF and there won't ever be until the ROM is released.
"Happy Camper, Has no ROM released. So you are out of luck"

Squashed - Already ripped?
"Squashed already has a NSF: Ninja Jajamaru - Ginga Dai Sakusen"

So Squashed is the same game / has the same soundtrack as Ninja Jajamaru - Ginga Dai Sakusen? I didn't see anything mentioned about that on thenesdump page.

Ditka is the same as the famicom game Quarterback Scramble with some sprite changes, so I figure the music is probably the same as well.

Well the original manga it is based on is called Sugar Thief, if you want to look that up. I don't think they're officially related, but they had the same artist.

Nope. All I have for Wild Boys is the glam rocker box art and one screenshot.

Surprised No one has mentioned Bio Force Ape, who knows when the rom will be available though. No one quite knows what the owners are planning.

I have no real plan, I'll get around to it when I get around to it.

That's cool, hope you didn't take that like I was bitchen, but I would be your bitch to play that game!

Bio Force Ape is like the holy grail of Protos!  I'm just glad it was found
