I usually roll around to goodwill or something similar and dig through their collection of ac adapters. I can usually find the right voltage and current levels necessary. They usually cost .96 each. Might be something you want to consider.

Bounties are very helpful. I posted one for 320 for mkII snes nfr, which was 65 higher than last recorded sale, and got a response in days. He had to pull the cart from his near complete set, but when the money is right, you move on it. If yoshis story is the last cart for the set, post an irresistible bounty. Good luck on your journey.
