EDIT: KICKSTARTER IS LIVE!!!!! http://kck.st/2VtRmuu...

Hi guys. It's been awhile since I've released anything, but I've been hard at work the past several months getting a new game together. Everything is now in the game, minus adding mouse support to one section, but I wanted to share the project with you guys at this time just in case anyone wasn't aware that it was coming. I've teased a few things on social media, but I am trying not to give too much away so none of the puzzle are ruined. What good is a puzzle game if you guys know what to expect?

The game consists of four "Chapters" that each contain a series of puzzles, both small and large. Full SNES mouse support is in the game, so you can use the mouse (by way of adapter) or by using a standard NES controller. Like most escape rooms, you have an hour to complete it, otherwise you have to start over.

There are many different types of puzzles. Logic puzzles, mini-game puzzles, auditory puzzles, music puzzles, etc.

I really tried to put as much as I could in the game. I brought on a new artist who had never worked on any games before, and his output has been tremendous. I really don't think there's been anything on the system that looks or plays quite like it. It's a really unique game that I look forward to everyone experiencing.

I plan to do a Kickstarter for it in the coming months after I put the campaign together and film the videos. I really want to put as much effort into the campaign as I did the game, so it won't be rushed at all. In that respect I can't really give you a timeline on when it will be, but I'm just going with the generic "in the coming months" for now. But the game is done, so that's a weight off my shoulders at least!

Anyway, enough talk. Here are some screens (stolen from gifs I put on Twitter. Couldn't figure out how to link them here in any pretty manner):

Very cool. The world always needs more decent adventure games!

I can see working through this with my kids as a family event!

Congratulations on finishing! I love the idea of the imposed time limit. The wide range of puzzles you've teased will make this a fun challenge.

I think you made a mistake, I don't see where you take my money...

-------------------------

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at the Let's Play Gaming Expo last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

Oh, my WTB thread is very popular. The sportos, the motorheads, geeks, sluts, bloods, wastoids, dweebies, Richard craniums - they all adore it. They think it's a righteous thread.
I'd also like to add that I've got my father's gun and a *scorching* price guide for aftermarket Nintendo games.
Between Dragon Warriors and nothing... I'll take Dragon Warriors - for any of my FT/FS/FO items.

Looks really fun! I love seeing unrepresented genres get new releases for the NES
I'm eagerly looking forward to trying it out, and will happily support the KickStarter when it launches!

it's a musical joke but joke really should be put in quotations. i guess i got what i wanted, a troll and a response, but it leaves me empty. god, there has to be more to life than this, right? I'm going to re-evaluate and will come back to this.

also: SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!

I'm ashamed of the amount of thought I've given to that joke, trying to figure it out.
