Wow, seriously that is retarded. Someone buy my copy for $250 then! Equally as nice I'm sure, but even better for display with no edge / corner whitening. Just a very tiny tear on the bottom flap... came from the Brion Shon NA auctions when he sold off all those Minty / Near Mint CIBs last spring.

Also did some digging... I paid $63 for my copy from Brion Shon last March. Then I sold my previous dupe for $50 shipped shortly there after, I believe it went to chupaskabra.

Totally thinking about listing mine on eBay with a high BIN OBO, even if it breaks up my Black Box set.

Looks like it was a side deal. If you do a search for completed listings for clu clu land it comes up red (not sold or ended early) instead of sold (green).

I was going to say I'd pay $250 for a mint example any day but this was far from mint.  Hell I'd probably pay $250 for a mint example ofany of the uncommon black boxes but having difficulty finding them in grade.  I'm talking boxes that would grade Q85+'s and higher.  If your Clu Clu land is that nice let me know.

Like I said, it's quite solid for me especially since the small tear at the bottom doesn't show when displayed. I'm sure that ruins it in a Mint / VGA collector's eyes though.  That was Fris's reasoning for passing on it, but I bet he regrets it and wishes he grabbed it as a placeholder!  Still was the best CIB of Clu Clu Land I've ever seen publicly auctioned since becoming a member, glad I got it.

Damn that link brings back bad memories. I waited on pins and needles for that to end.. and wound up drunk when it did, and missed it.
