PS: Whenever I'm vacuuming with the hose attachment, Jamiee (my kitty) likes to do that little paw thing on the end of it, it is so cute! ^^  I love so much when they do cute little things with their wittle mittens (like reaching in my tea and then licking the tea off their paw, that is just so adorable; squee!! ^^ ).

I grew up with cats and dogs. Have had both great and bad pets. Mostly great. Sometimes even when you are 100% nice to a cat, feed it, pet it gently, it can be a total spook all its life. That is the case with Monroe, but she was a rescue that had been abused before we got her, so you have to feel sorry for her even if she was never able to trust humans her whole life. Cats can also be sweet--Lime used to climb up on my shoulder and perch there.

I do miss owning cats from time-to-time. My wife and some of the folks on her side of the family are allergic. I got very attached to most of my pets. I mean, Jake and Mugsy (both dogs) got me through the toughest times during middle and high school. Whether they realized it or not, they were great emotional support. Tiger (a cat obviously) was also there for my toughest times in grade school. V.V. could somehow tell I needed comfort the day I found out my wife was going to have to stay at the hospital for six months and we could lose our baby. 

Even with my experiences, I do feel people sometimes get too attached to animals. Trying to humanize them, dressing them up in clothes, etc.

I've always been a cat person. I had my cat Tiger for 18 years before she passed a few years ago. She was the best damn cat ever! Here's a pic of me and her playin Mario 2! I have some others but they are packed away at the moment.




Just moved in with my girfriend and inherited a new cat named Stubbs   heres a pic of us lookin shameful and a couple others of her relaxin! Shes a really good cat and is already pretty attached to me.

Oh yes!  I have a pic of me playing a game with my dearly departed Tweetie (she passed away August 18, 2012...even after over four years I do miss her sometimes    I have a little memorial that has her ashes inside) sitting on my right thigh...can anyone here tell which game I'm playing?  

And yes both Tweetie and my current cat Jamiee like to roll over and do that upside down flirty face at me...yours is such a little daddy's girl just like my Tweetie was, wasn't she?

And yeah!   She's always on my lap or somewhere around me!

Your grey tiger with the white pants looks like my late cat Scooter (had to put him down a year and a half ago) - he's the one who gave hi-fives and wore my rock band bandana as a cape. Miss that fucker.
