A while ago, I know there was a team working on translating Mother into English. I could not find that site again. I was wondering if it was ever completed?

Also if you burn this rom on a cart, would the save feature work?

A rom hacking group called Neo Demiforce was working on a Mother (JAP) > Earthbound (ENG) translation. I don't know how far they got before they got a hold of the English prototype and dumped it into ROM format.

So in other words, the translation was never finished. But what we got is better than any translation.

I'd like to see mother 3 translated, I know it's being worked on as a fan project, but I am almost stunned that Nintendo hasn't released this in the US to begin with, there is a huge cult following of this series (including me ). Earthbound must have done extremely poor sales for them to be so cautious.

I don't know what their problem is...

The only RPG i ever liked was earthbound. It's just so classic nintendo...

Everything from the dialog, to the characters, everything.

I would buy it.
