I picked one of each of these with a N64 and cables today. Just curious how much the controllers are worth.

I believe this is the original Toys-R-Us bundle, just without the packaging.

Both (Gold/Extreme Green) controllers are in good shape. Any suggestions? Searching here/eBay has led me to no success.

Thanks!

There are lots of both of these on eBay. A quick search reveals that the gold ones are selling for $20-$25 shipped  (dependent on condition), and around the same for the extreme green ones.

Usually gold sells for a little more than the extreme green. I believe the DK Banana ones do still sell for more.

Alright, thanks guys! Kinda feel stupid now that I see the eBay auctions; sorry Patrick.

So, I did well at $35 for the N64 with cables and both of those controllers, right?

That was a great price, especially if you are keeping the N64. Keep in mind with the controllers that they are highly condition dependent (people don't want loose joysticks).

Well, the joysticks are very slightly loose, but I have good replacements at home.

Originally, I bought the bundle for the controllers themselves (since I only have one controller), but the guy didn't want to separate the system and the controllers. I'm thinking of keeping this system as a spare.

For some reason every gold N64 controller I've found has been in excellent condition. I think it's one of those odd things where when people bought them they would use their other controllers more so as to not mess them up. It could be a fluke but I've never found one in poor condition...

Yeah, this gold controller isn't mint (it's definitely been used). The joysticks are actually pretty nice though, with maybe the smallest sign of loosening up.

Again, I can just replace those.

Oh I've seen a beat to shit gold controller, had a name carved into it and the joystick was about a 7/10 in terms of tightness. Still sold it for $15 though

I have a gold n64 and 4 gold controllers, none ever get used because of said reason.

Hey, I'm new here and was going to make a new topic, but it seems it could fit under here. Does anyone have/know a list of every different color controller for the N64? Also, are there any N64 controllers that are hard to find like the Millennium controller (went for $200 on ebay), and the DK Banana controller? Thanks!

There is a complete list on wikipedia I believe. Colors for NTSC that come to mind are:

Solid colors:

Grey, Black, red, yellow, blue, black, gold, green

Transparent colors:

ice blue, watermelon, smoke grey, fire orange, grape purple, lighter purple, extreme green, jungle green

Limited Edition controllers:

DK 64 banana controller, Nintendo Power 100 controller, Millenium controller

Also, I honestly think the Millenium controller is way overpriced, and will come down eventually. I do think , however, the NP100 is way undervalued. Just my 2 cents

Thanks! How much (roughly) is the NP 100 controller worth?

Oh Malon what's up, I was the one in your DP thread. In case you missed the pictures that I posted:

(Not mine, taking from a Finnish N64 collector's page.)

The NP100 / DK Banana and Millennium trump all others in terms of rarity by far.
