There has been a ton of great Shrimps released for the Nintendo Switch since it dropped so lets talk about em! 

I've downloaded most of them so far and have been playin them a bunch! Some i had never played before like Sky Force Reloaded which i probably have put the most time into. It has a great progression system that really makes you feel like you are getting stronger which makes it fun to try and achieve all the goals on each level. Still haven't completely finished it but hope to one of these days. Graceful Explosion Machine was a pretty cool little Shrimp early on in the Switch life. Was fun to try and go for high scores. My Top 5 Favorites so far would probably be:

1. Strikers 1945 II
2. Strikers 1945
3. Gunbird
4. Danmaku Unlimited 3
5. Sky Force Reloaded

There are  a ton of other great ones like Blazing Star, Zero Gunner 2 and Aero Fighters 2! The Psikyo releases are excellent and are actual upgraded versions of the games which improve resolution so they look awesome! Unlike the Neo Geo titles which are just the original arcade versions which is fine and great additions to the Switch line up! I'm really hoping Cave Shrimps make their way to Switch! That would make my day!

A couple i would probably avoid are Earth Atlantis, Star Ghost and RXN Raijin. Earth Atlantis was just pretty boring and the look of it was pretty lame. I thought it was gonna be cool but was dissapointed. RXN Raijin is just not worth the price. Its the most expensive Shrimp in the Eshop and is just mediocre and repetitive. A better/cheaper game in that bullet hell style would be Danmaku 3. Its hard as hell on the harder difficulties but has a great feel and cool mechanics like bullet grazing and ghost bullets after you kill enemies you can collect to fill your special meter similar to the game Bullet Soul. Star Ghost i had actually bought on Wii U and found it be boring and pretty generic so i skipped it on Switch. 

Anyways, What Switch Shrimps have you played? What are your favorites or least favorites. I included Rive on the list cuz i feel it appeals to people who like Shrimps though i guess its more of a twin stick platformer. A lot of the Vertical Shrimps offer Tate mode(Being able to flip the game horizontally to better utilize the size of the screen) so i added a (T) to ones that i know offer that option. If i missed any, please let me know! 

I don't have a Switch, but Blazing Star and Pulstar are two of the most played games on my Neo Geo - the system doesn't have a lot of shrimps, let alone good ones, but those two are among the best in the genre IMO. Not a big fan of Psikyo/VideoSystem shrimps myself, but at least they are decent and somewhat enjoyable. I know you already put an X at Sine Mora, but I honestly wouldn't recommend that one to anyone. It's very good looking, but gameplay-wise it's boring and borderline broken. Just not a fun game, unfortunately.

Sine Mora is alright. Not the best horizontal shrimp but not the worst. I'm suprised you dont like the Psikyo shrimps, i think they are great with excellent presentation. Also a big fan of Blazing Star! One of the best Horizontal shrimps but i'm just more of a Vertical Shrimp guy.

Forgot Sol Divide dropped today! Just downloaded! I'll add that to the list! Looks like Tengai will be the next Switch Shrimp! Another Psikyo release! Dropping next thursday, 3/29! Never played that one but it looks pretty cool!

Heh got Sol Divide as well...kinda dull but I've played worse. Nice that Sengoku Blade/Tengai is the next release I kinda liked that one I played it often on MAME before I muh puter HDD had seizures and died.

Thnaks for the heads up on RXN was wondering about it with it being $30, I agree with Earth Atlantis its dull however I did like the graphics but still lost interest after a while. Sky Force Anniversary & Reloaded are good I have those on ps4 (digital) and physicals of Aqua Kitty DX, Rive and Tachyon Project so probably skip those on Switch.

Aqua Kitty is pretty fun and a nice pick up and play time wastet its a Defender clone which is a favorite anyway., Tachyon is a bit dull to me as I was expecting something like Geometry Wars.

Now Steredenn I like as its completely random (which can be turned off but theres like hundreds of short stages) so enemy flight pattern memorization is out the window you make it though the enemy waves to fight a boss and manage to defeat it pick 1 perk out of 5 or 6 to run the next stage and bosses get meaner and bigger the further you go (which they are random by MK 1-4 and each MK has its set attack patterns but you won't know what one is appear) but and your left with skill or in my case sheer luck as when you die its all gone and your back to the start point and your run at that time will be different from the previous so basically like a randomized survival endurence and the longer you can last the better shit you get to push on but at the risk of losing it all, not even sure the game even ends but its addicitve.

Right on! That sounds cool. I'll have to pick that 1 up and maybe Aqua Kitty.
