So I am prepared for all of the responses: "Noob question!!" "absolutely not... Just buy a Saturn" "why would you ever do that!!"

Truth is, I don't have a Saturn, I do have a PSX and love it, along with a growing collection of PS1 early LongBox games,

After playing "D" for the first time, I was thinking of buying "Enemy Zero" or "D2" and somehow converting them or my PSX (or burning a converted version of them) and then creating a complete set of "D-Series" PS1 games... Exactly what the developer didn't want... (Sorry Kenji Eno)

What do you guys think?

http://keio.dk/converters.html... something like this?
Saturn controller d-pads are amazing only the neo geo CD controller is better IMO.

If you have any GBA signage or kiosk I would be interested. Please send me a PM because I'm only here about once a month now but I'm still VERY interested in large system signage or small playable kiosks related to the GBA.

I think he was meaning the games, not the controller.

If you can play PS1 games in a Dreamcast with a Bleem! disc then yes, anything is.

I figured that.. but the saturn doesn't even emulate well on the PC so there's no way in hell it would work on the playstation.

Yes you were right,

I just finished playing "D" on the PS1, and thought, how awesome would it be to have the complete set (Enemy Zero and D2) on PS1

Guess I'll just have to buy a Saturn afterall

The systems are worlds different in the way they utilize graphics, sound, video, color, etc. So no, it really can't be done...

Saturns aren't that much more than a regular Playstation anyways, so at least you'll have 1 more awesome console to add in your collection! :3

Yes, as the others have said, the Saturn is a completely different beast from the PS1. Doing a bleem! style Saturn emulator on PS1 is impossible.

On the other hand, seeing how the PS1 is in fact pretty simple, there's a slight chance with enough programming skill, one could make a PlayStation emulator/translator/interpreter/recompiler or whatever you'd call it, for the Saturn.

The one big hurdle though, is the Saturn is a mess to program for. It had two SH-2 CPUs, two VDPs, a M68k acting as a sound controller and a Yamaha FH1 DSP, which weren't all of the ICs in the Saturn, but the most important. It also had a ridiculous amount of RAM banks for individual purposes.
