I have two of these boxes now. Both of them appear to have staple holes in the top flap, both inside flaps, the front top RH and front bottom RH corners and the back bottom RH and back top RH corners.

The weird thing is that the holes on both boxes are in exactly the same spots. Does anyone else have the same holes o their boxes? If so, what the heck were they for?

Mike

My copy doesn't any staple holes. I have no idea what they would be for, if anything.

hey while we are on the subject of DKJmath there isn't supposed to be any known 3 screw version of this game. However I just did BIN on eBay for a 3-screw of this? The picture in the auction sucks ass but you can see it is definetly a 3 screw. I already sent him two emails stating that I better get the 3 screw in the picture and not a 5 screw version or I will be upset... probably waisting my time though as I will probably just get a 5 screw from inventory as he is large seller. But the picture does pretty much confirm that this exists now IMO.

What do you all think?

Very odd. I don't think that is an actualy picture though, it looks fake to me. I hope you do get a 3 screw version, but I HIGHLY doubt this one exists. I have been wrong before though....

Did you receive this DK Math yet Erik? One thing I thought of, maybe this is a -CAN 3-screw version, or some other region where it might have been released a little later than the US.

Unfortunately it came today. Even though he responded to my PM's at NES forums it obviously didn't matter since I got a 5 screw and on top of that is was covered with crap all over it. So obviously photo wasn't this one. I was able to clean it up perfect with Goo B Gone but it is still 5 screw. He said he does have both 3 and 5 though. Then why did I get a 5 screw????

Bah, I've been having the same luck lately. 2 people in a row have sent me wrong version, even though I specifically ask for the one pictured, and even asked beforehand to confirm they weren't stock photo's Luckily, both were nice people and are exchanging them.

I just got a couple reseals so count me in for the shitty luck club. :/

How can you tell if boxes have been resealed? I got screwed on some stuff awhile ago but that was ovious that they weren't factory sealed. Is it hard to know the difference usually?

It all depends on who did the resealing and whether its an attempt to defraud or just an old school rewrapping that retailers would sometimes do with returned product. These particular ones were obvious and probably more along the lines of the latter. I'm particularly pissed off about one of them though because not only was it rewrapped without a hor. seam, it's even open at the top!! I mean... if the seller doesn't know how to tell its genuine that's one thing, but to say its factory sealed when its completely open is just bullshit.

That sucks, it's amazing what some people will try to get away with. Hope you got it sorted out. My ones were ovious since they had left the price tickets from the stores where they were originally sold on the box and just wrapped over the top.

Well if you include the DK JR Math, the boxed console that I got absolutely REAMED on (I did file a PayPal claim against ponyjr) and the fact that I orderd two CIB games from Aussie Land back in January that STILL aren't here I am not doing very hot myself!! Oh and the guy that I bought some magazines from down in Texas who charged my over $66 bucks to ship a couple Nes mags. What a Joke!!
