1st thanks to NGD for not bidding against me on round two of these.

I got all of the ones not in cases from one guy he sold them over the course of about half one month and half the next.  I also got 5 CIB Hong Kong NES small box from the same seller.

The gold one is a Series "E" and not numbered like the rest and as best I can tell the series with letters on them must have been reprints or additional releases or something as the gold one is the same exact Sqoon pirate as the blue box NESA-GC-024.

So far I have #001 and various #'s in between all the way up to the highest number I have being #304.  I wonder if there are really over 300 different original run blue box pirates or if they skipped some numbers?

You got pretty good deals on most of these too, I was watching as well. Great looking set, worth every penny.

I wonder if they're numbered like the original Atari games were...where certain genres are a certain number range. How does it seem when you arrange them as such?

I have a green box that is very similar to the gold one you have pictured (It says HKGC right on it).

Any idea what game that would come with? It was thrown in a lot that I bought off eBay that included a bunch of licensed HK carts.

Awesome. Now you need to pick up some Gameboy game protectors instead of those big NES ones.

No doubt, not to mention for the Hong Kong and Asian and the European Small box games as well.  Has anyone tried the GameBoy protectors on these size boxes?  Dain?

Unfortunately, they don't fit -- these boxes are too tall.

Damn that would have been perfect otherwise. I wonder if there are any other sizes that would fit. As I agree these look dumb in the larger NES size protectors.
