Managed to bump my score by a little bit today. I had this game growing up so it was a lot of fun to try with the 1-life spin to it. That being said I don't know how soon I'll touch it again cause I'm so sick of the first level. Regardless still tons of fun as per usual with these competitions.

Provided Tom and Doug are the only two who max out the score before 10 PM tonight, they are both going to get 11 points. What I've done in the past is add the points together from the two places that are tied (in this case, first and second place, which are 11 and 10 points) and divide by 2. Since dividing 21 by 2 produces 10.5 and I don't put half points on the leaderboard, I'm rounding up to 11 for both places. This is my final decision.

My NES collection count: 757 games (16 to go for a full set)

Latest Purchase(s): Snow Brothers

I finally been able to beat that Gator boss, what a relief. Now, I would need to get how to smoothly beat Shredder cause I'm definitely stuck here with one life.

I think this is the best way to go.

By this logic, given a third player would tie Doug and Tom, we would ruled for 10 points each, since points for 1st (11) 2nd (10) and 3rd (9) add up for 30/3 = 10?

Yes, if we get a third score that's the same as Tom's and Doug's, all three would get 10 points.  Hopefully we get some more great scores in the next 30 minutes

I had loads of fun with this one, probably ranks right under Adventure Island week for me (although I placed much better in TMNT). I'm out until Guerrilla War week, based on the schedule. Probably for the best anyway, my hands need time to recover

Lol, that video brings back memories!

Doug, I gotta hand it to you man. I never thought I'd see anyone zero death TMNT 3 using Raph! Great job on the maxout!

Thanks! I think his special attack works the best on the bosses, so he's always been my turtle of choice in this game. There's was a lot of luck involved since I had to beat most of the bosses without getting hit, but after playing it all week and most of last week, I was able to get it done on the last day.

I'm seriously disappointed I was on vaca all week for this tourney, would have nailed Top 5 easily. What a sad day to be a Space Jockey

On a more serious note, I've played EarthBound today for so long, I feel all tense and mentally worn out.
Then you called your mother and felt better?
