I had Flintstones King Rock Treasure Island for the GB when I was a kid. I have about 30ish GB games now that I'v picked up from garage sales, etc. I have yet to see it at any game stores in the 4 years since I've started collecting again. It goes for 45ish loose and over $350 cib. $20 is my limit for GB games though, so unless I find one at a garage sale, I'll probably never buy it. What's the story behind this game? Other than the obvious that it's rare, but hats the deal?

Most GB games are a big leap from loose to CIB, nobody kept the boxes. If you really want it 45 isn't that much to spend fora game from your childhood. I feel bad for kids who grew up with little Samson, good freakin luck

Just wait. I just got into GB stuff and have found the prices to be all whacky on GB stuff. I just got a copy for cheap in a store. I think your best bet is to hope to find one in a store, they seem to be marked much lower because A) very few GB buyers and B) not knowing the price.

If you REALLY want it, the Euro version I think is cheaper and is probably identical. The GB games are region free and will all run normal speed

I've seen it twice 2 game stores. I bought it several years ago for $5 at a store. I saw it the other day for $17. I would pay the $45 for it though if you really want it.

$45 doesn't seem bad for a loose version of a valuable game.

There is a big price gap between GB games CIB and loose. Even with common titles. If it's an overly popular game, the gap got even bigger.

I'll echo everyone else here, $45 isn't bad if it's a game you grew up with and have an itch to play. I found it for $40 w/shipping currently listed, and all the cart only copies (no box, no manual) finished for $30 and under.
