expect to pay around 120-200 for a good one, it might need a belt replacement though, but those are easy to find

I've seen them unboxed and with good belts run around $80-$100. Boxed ones with good belts, around $120-$150. If it needs the belt replaced, expect to pay $50-$65 for it and about another $10-$15 for the belt.

I spent $80 for a good one unboxed from an import classic gaming shop so I would guess that this is about the going rate for them.

Wow, higher than I thought.

I thought they would be a little cheaper. I bought a regular famicom for like $15 shipped.

Can you put a rom on the floppy?

Ebay around 6 years ago. When I sold it, a few years later, it didn't go for much either. Too bad I still didn't have it, I would easily have sold/traded it to you.

Never had any games for it though.

If you didn't already have a famicom I'd say to go and look for a Sharp Twin Famicom, its the fc & fds inside the same case.

You can sometimes get the disk systems really cheap but they either don't have the Ram adapter or the disk drive is not working because the belt has gone.

I finally got myself a Famicom AV last night in a lot from the US, it was only a 1 day listing and it also has a normal famicom with it and all the hook ups. I may put this up for sale when I receive it.

Let me know.

I already have a FDS that works fine. Just need a Famicom to hook it up to so I don't have to McGuyver it to work in my NES toaster.

As for the twin famicom. That thing is way too expensive for me.

What I wanted to do was build it into a NES case.

Also guys:

Can you use any disc with that thing, or it has to be Nintendo Discs? Can you put a rom on the Disc?

They have to be Nintendo disks, mostly. Pirates figured out ways to mimic the "Nintendo" carved into the disks so their disks could be used, but other than that, you won't be able to put just any disk in there.
