I just bought a CIB challenge set for $40, comes with everything plus it came with mario/duckhunt and metroid.

box and booklets were in good shape just some very minor wear and tear. Games were mint and the best part was the console and controllers itself. it was like they were never touched!! they looked brand new, worked like brand new and it even had the nintendo help line sticker on the inside of the flap.

I was just wondering if this was a good deal (i dont see much talk on challenge sets) and maybe what its worth?

$40 is the about the price of a system only, so I'm pretty sure you get a good deal .

Did the challenge set also have the CS SMB3 with it?

na unfortunately it didn't come with smb3, i am looking to buy one separately though in case i ever sell it.

it also came with some sort of aladdin book of codes. not sure what that is, but im guessing i need the deck enhancer for that to work.

Is it a book of Game Genie codes?
I also have the CE smb3 box i might part with. Only problem is whoever I got it from carefully pealed off the challenge set sticker. You can still tell its the box though because it has the weird screenshot with an orange sky on the back.
Correct me if I'm wrong people, but was the SMB3 from the challenge set the only one with the orange sky screen?
Probably not, I haven't had my hands on enough Marios to see, I just thought thats how it went.

yeah thats it, its the game genie codes. Ive never seen a box with an orange sky on the back, can you post a pic? Also send me a pm if you do end up parting with it.

and there is no orange sky but i still never heard of an orange sky on the back of the box.
