Say its not true! Thoughts?? Maybe they're saving it for the next gen Nintendo console then? Maybe they'll remeake Twilight Princess in HD like Wind Waker to hold us over?

Just read these articles here:

Yeah, I'm kind of pissed to be honest, I hate Wind Waker and was really looking forward to this release of Zelda. I suspect they want to save it for the next gen console.

And someone in there said it best, "A delayed game is eventually good but a rushed game is bad forever". I agree with that too. I don't care if it takes longer to develop if it will ensure a better game.

So, how about Duke Nukem Forever?  lol took them how many years of development to release a complete turd?

Taking time doesnt always mean its going to be quality, take it how you will, but I work in the industry and time = money and if its taking to long then things will get cut/scrapped or not done right.

I am not suprised by this delay, Nintendo is really going to be focusing on their Mobile Game development and rightfully so, its going to make them more money then any Wii-u game will.

I am sure Zelda for the Wii-u will be a fine game, but eh!

Well it is a Miyamoto quote, and comparing a 3rd party game like Duke Nukem to the standard of 1st party Nintendo releases is a bit silly.  Always are exceptions to the rule but delays are not usually a bad thing except for the impatient.

That Design & Trend article is nonsense. Speculation based on Amazon customer emails? Amazon frequently uses placeholder dates on unreleased games. Majora's Mask 3D had a 12/31/15 release date until about a month before the game came out.

My son... gives me Helpful Nintendo Hints that are far too complex for the adult mind to comprehend. Here's a verbatim example: "OK, there's Ganon and miniature Ganon and there's these things like jelly beans and the miniature Ganon is more powerfuller, because when you touch him the flying eagles come down and the octopus shoots red rocks and the swamp takes longer." And the hell of it is, I know he's right. - Dave Barry

I used Duke as an example since it is widly reconized as a flop. But sure its a silly comparison.

And yes, I agree with your final statment for sure.

Duke Nukem Forever changed hands from different companies.  And it had to keep redoing its engine to compete.
Zelda doesn't have those kind of hurdles.  It really can be a "we will release it when we are done" game.

Disappointed nonetheless, but I can't say I'm surprised this happened. I'm not mad about it or anything. After all I grew up with the N64, when EVERY game was delayed (usually for the better though). I have so many games I still need to play that one game being delayed isn't going to affect me. It was cancelled altogether, THEN I'd be pissed.

Anyone think they'll do an HD remake in the mean time? Maybe for Christmas time?

ITs not dead now. So how is a game that will be a massive success delayed from christmas 2015 to 2016 kill a system? I think you feel wrong
