February was a good month! My favorite things to collect have always been the obscure, oddball, and almost forgotten stuff, so I'm quite happy that I was able to add these items to the collection for cheap. That being said, I am curious about their current value. There's not a lot of info out there, and the small amount that I was able to dig up is fairly outdated.
The first item is a complete set (50 cards) of "Collector's Edition" Super Power Club cards, in mint condition. The lady I got these from took amazingly good care of her posessions as a kid, and these things are immaculate. I was able to find an auction from 2015 that ended at a little over $300, but it doesn't seem like too many sets have popped up since then. I really like these cards, they look amazing, especially with the gold foil.
The second item is a Chinese version of Adventure Island III (DMG-216 CHN, For China Only) for the Game Boy. Scoring this was kind of a fluke. I was paying for a few other items at a local Book Off, when I glanced at a big bag of Game Boy commons, and this one caught my eye. I assumed it was the Japanese version, and I just grabbed it because I like the series. 3 bucks, why not. I was pretty surprised when I got home and took a better look at it. And yes, I went back first thing in the morning and dug through the rest of that bag, no other gems to be found though. I can't find much of anything regarding price (and even general info about these releases is kind of scare), but it definitely seems like one of the harder to find CHN games. It's in great condition as well.
If anyone has any input it would be much appreciated, thanks in advance!
