Got some new signs on display and lugged this console TV to the basement. Has S video so it really shines for retro 240p consoles. My NES Toploader does S Video out as well. 

The days growing up laying in front of a console tv watching movies and playing video games is a comfort that will never leave me. Why not capture it in the collection. Spent a couple days figuring out the setup. Matching poster and sleeping bag too! 

Mario Party anyone? Bring the pizza, twinkies and Mt. Dew. My parents are out of town.

I love it. That old console TV really seals the deal. I have a trinitron but there's a part of me that really just wants to downgrade to and old 19" Magnavox TV/VCR combo because that's what I had as a kid for my setup. This is great.

Thanks dude. Found that sleeping bag at a garage sale a couple months ago. Older lady said she had freshly laundered it too. Of course I smelled it and I knew she was telling the truth. I think her and I bonded that day. 

 

I had that exact console tv in my living room as a kid. Good stuff.

I have one of those bad boys for when I finish my basement and set up my game room. I also have this awesome Jordan banner my mom got me from a friend who worked for Chicago when they put them up to celebrate their NBA Championship.

My buddy joked that my man cave will be a man child cave.

This reminds me of back in the late 1980s thru mid 1990s when Nintendo was a major park of most kid's lives and we would visit each other's houses and play together. It was so much better than now when no one sees or visits each other any more. Things were so much better 20-30 years ago. This picture is a great reflection of that. Great going!

Killer setup dude! I had a similar console tv growing up, but mine had the speakers on the side not below the screen.

Wasnt too bad. It actually has wheels on the bottom but my fiance actually helped me move it to the basement. She had a tough time but we did it!
