I found some video of this game on YouTube, though the video was done on an emulator, I'm wondering if anyone's played this before? It looks fantastic, and I'm wondering if its possible to have this game put on a cart to play on real hardware?

Got an actual ROM hack download link? I could test it on a flash cart for you.

(I seriously doubt a SMW hack that heavily altered will work though. Custom music is often the big problem)

If it doesn't have custom music it should work. Like lots of others though the save feature may not work properly.

You think it looks great? The level design seemed incredibly uninspired.

And why do the physics look all janky and crappy? A lot of slowdown too.

I write shorthand reviews of every classic game I beat on The Backloggery, have a look-see.

I'm not sure what was causing the slowdowns, it was played on an emulator, so could have been something with his computer. In the first video (I posted #2) he had a few issues with slowdowns that he somehow corrected with his computer. Dunno what.

I think the game looks great... its got a very "Lovecraft-ian" feel, which its supposed to. And alot of the game physics were intentionally altered in some places to get the desired effect, like the level with the platforms that move as Mario moves, among others. I think it looks incredibly fun and unique.

I found and downloaded it, its just a patch that is applied to the original SMW rom file. I can email it to you if you like? I just need an email address.
