Yeah I about threw a fit the first time I got there.  Ended up losing all my lives.  THEN I figured out what a great idea it was to have missiles before starting that level.

This game gives me bad flashbacks of playing RC Pro AM from the Summer Tournament.  It's a good enough game but I'm an average player at best -- despite my best efforts -- which really affects my enjoyment of playing it.

At the moment I am WAY better at RC ProAM than I am at Cobra Triangle!

I feel like Cobra Triangle manages to mash up the awkward play-control and perspective of Snake Rattle and Roll with some of the cheap deaths of Paperboy...

That's the level everyone hates.

Though to be fair to guillavoie, that would make a kickass sport.

Well, it turned out to actually be winnable with missiles and split-fire upgrades...

The waterfall jumps are where I ended up biting the dust, but it will turn out to just be a matter of taking my time to hit the damn ramps.

Guarding the people seems to be either kind of tough or straight up ridiculous.

Definitely not the hardest level in my opinion wait til the ice berg levels....so cheap

This game is definitely not for the gamer who dislikes really challenging games. When I first started playing I thought those pods were purely for points and didn't realize you had a Gradius-esque power up system to use them on. Without those powerups, trying to protect the men from being captured is almost an effort in futility.

Yeah for the first couple of my runs it took me a while to notcie that as well. I would see the items flashing and just thought there was some way to select what you wanted so I would press Select  and then it would stop flashing and I wouldn't really know what I did.

This game sorta made me want to punch myself in the testicles at first but its ok now... Out of pure luck I made it past the waterfalls on about my 3rd try and haven't been able to clear it again since.

I cleared it on my second try and haven't cleared it since so I feel your pain. I know when I cleared it I had a good rhythm going so slowing your boat down a lot is probably a bad idea. I like the game, but sometimes it seems like the game tries to force you to hate it.

WTF GAME!?  I died because the timer ran out during the boss' death animation.  I was so happy to win with 2 seconds left but that switched to yelling pretty quick!

Dang, that sucks man. I had no clue that the time would keep going after the boss was defeated

Yeah it's definitely a developer oversight IMO. I would call it unfair but we all play under the same ruleset. Unlucky me, I guess!

I don't have a ton of motivation to play this game, but I will say in what little time I've spent with it I'm getting better. I always continue on just to see how far I can go. On my top score run I made it to Level 14 for the first time. That iceberg level (13) really sucks!

Got a couple of 5k bonuses on the pod collect stage and 3 extra men to help me get this score. I got to the iceberg stage in another, lower scoring run. And yes, that level sucks.

Yeah the beginning of the iceberg level isn't too bad but then you got those two that go back and forth in a narrow area and then the rapid fire icebergs. Getting thru that area feels like pure luck

Not sure what stage that was... The last boss I beat was the squid and I died trying to move the mines after that...

This game reminds me of a cross between Battletoads and RC Pro AM (obviously its made by RARE )... Its like the first time you made it to the turbo tunnels and were like WTF this is impossible! But then you start to recognize the pattern, and get the timing down and eventually it becomes 2nd nature.

Holy hand grenade that's a great score! Probably not going to even get close to that.

Played it a few times, and got to the point where I can rack up 300K consistently. I always liked this game, but my Cobra Triangle skills got way better this week! Hard game though...

Broke 300k and that will need to be enough for me this weekend.

That iceberg level is absolutely brutal. I cleared it by attrition, but then accidentally hit a jump on the next race (didn't even know those were jumps!) and landed on dry ground to lose my final life.

I took a right in the first race and a left in the second, so my iceberg run was Level 13, i think, with my final death on Level 14.

I'll probably give this one some more attention another time, since this is the first time I've ever really played it (had no idea it was done by Rare or that it was RC-Pro-Am-on-steroids-on-the-water)

Always liked this game, but it's really effin' hard. I tried continuing to see how far I could go but I died at this stage
Totally forgot the stage however...

I've always heard good things about this game, but I've never gotten the chance to play it. It looks kind of like RC Pro Am with boats, so it seems like fun.
