I would love to own a CAT too. Do you know anyone who has one? The picture you posted looks like it has two carts for it. It may be possible to reverse engineer what is going on with the CAT and then draw parellels to the DUCK.

 


Don't own a CAT unit just yet. Missed out on the opportunity of buying one from the Netherlands about a year ago. Reverse engineering could be possible but imagine it would be a sizeable project.

I love Nintendo dev stuff and I've seen a lot of it, but I've never seen the TWL capture/debugger or the TWL panda. Simply amazing, thanks for sharing this with us.

Appreciate the kind remarks. Do really enjoy collecting dev equipment and sharing my collection with fellow collectors. The TWL capture & debugger were hard to come by and got lucky. Still need to find a Partner capture/debugger (3DS Dev unit)amongst other things wanted. Always adding pieces so make sure to check back from time to time to see for updates.

How did you get ahold of a Joybus? Do you have the Ultra 64 board and SGI Indy to go with it? Very nice collection btw.

Scored the Joybus adapters, N64 gang writer, and SN system carts from a CL add in California. A buddy of mine sent me the link and I jumped on buying the lot same night it posted. Seller was awesome and surprised me with next day delivery. As for additional N64 dev equipment I do have those items and a few other pieces not yet pictured. Made the mistake of boxing up most my dev collection without picturing it. So as new items come in and old ones are unearthed I do my best to take photos. Would love to have these items on display but being as bulky as some are the only realistic option was boxing them up. Glad you enjoyed viewing my collection and always appreciate the positive feedback from fellow enthusiasts.   

 

Damn man, I hope to be as lucky as you one day with finding N64 dev equipment! Finding all three of those in one lot is crazy.

I've been dabbling with the Partner System 5.0 SDK on a Win98 virtual machine. It's fun reading the documentation and trying to code on such old software!

Glad you enjoyed checking out the collection. Try my best to add things as they come in or when pulled from being stored. To me collecting is more sbout the history and story behind items then the value of the items. Keep checking back for updates and more interesting items yet to come.
