Ok my post in that other thread made me wonder what I'm missing for SMB variants worldwide?

Anyone have stuff I don't have in this pic I just took of all my different SMB Cib Variants?

I think there might be one more US variant I'm missing... but it should be here soon if it is cool, if not to the doubles pile. No biggie. But besides that anything else? Not counting Famicom stuff. Possibly a Korean Version maybe? I'd love to see anything anyone else has.

The one that is all the way to the left in the middle, is that a SCN? If not, you miss at least one.

Nice collection of SMBs

Do you have the pre- and post-unification versions of German NOE SMB? I think there may be more NOE SMB variants as well, I had it written down somewhere a year or two ago. One variant for sure is that it says Westdeutschland on some boxes (on the side) and simply Deutschland on others.

Edit: Also, I don't know 100% about SMB, but quite a few smallbox games from European Version (EEC) came with no seal, with white round seal, and with black round seal, so there may be some variants there that you're missing as well (you might want to check if there's a large-box Spanish Version as well).

Edit #2: Yup, just checked my pics, there's a EEC European Version with round black seal on the box that you seem to be missing. Maybe a German collector can help you out with that one.

Also, I'm fairly sure there's three country variants for the NOE box: one with Westdeutschland on side and top of box, one with Deutschland on side and top of box, and one with Westdeutschland on side and Deutschland on top of box. I don't have the boxes anymore, but I'm pretty sure these have passed through my hands.

What's the difference on the 5 round seal games in the top row? Hangtabs: no code, back of box code, inner tab code; non-hangtab non-RevA, and a non-hangtab Rev-A? Those are just my random guesses, lol.

As far as the Korean version, I don't believe that there was a separate boxed SMB. I think the only SMB 1 was the SMB/DH pack-in.

Interesting thanks for the pic. As we speak I have 4 more variants coming in to add to the picture I took. Including the one from France the Speedy showed above and one from Neatherlands marked -FRA code but it's different completely from the one from France that Speedy showed.

I got 12 PAL copys of SMB.
Speedy is right, there are 2 diffrent NOE boxes. On the NOE box is Deutschland printed and the NOE-1 has Westdeutschland in the warrenty writing. From the pic above You missing:

FRA ASD version
FRA without the Mattel print
FAH version (with one round or two oval SoQ)
From the FRG also a FRG-1 version exists
ESP & SCN Version (same art as the FRG one just with blue writing instead of red)
SB EEC with gold SoQ
SB EEC & ESP with oval SoQ
SB EEC with whtite/gold SoQ
SB ESP without SoQ

Probably some missing

So I've picked up around 4 new CIB's since my last pick... no updated pic as of yet but this one is kinda interesting. HOL code on the box, FRA code on the Cart, and FAH-1 code on the book. Came from a seller in the Netherlands. Kinda cool 5 screw and Hang tab box so it matches up.

Ok here is the front of the Box that iS HOL code. See where it says something about Francais... isn't that saying the inside stuff is in French? Hence making the cart book correct match?
