I was surpised to see that there wasn't a thread dedicated to recently completed games. I figured that people could use this to brag about games that they have beaten. It would be nice to keep this thread about first-time completions or for diffculty achievements. I suppose if you want to brag about beating SMB for the 15th time, that's fine too


I'll start it off...

I finally beat Yoshi's Island: Super Mario World 2 (SNES). Great game

This is just one of many games that I played growing up but never actually beat.

Not old or anything but I beat the Elite Four in Pokemon X a couple days ago. Great game, don't get the complaints about it besides the occasional drop in frame rate. I also got all the stamps in Mario Kart 8 today, but I'm still working on car parts.

I update my post with every game I complete

After putting this game off for so long, I finally sat down and played through and beat Star Fox. It was really fun and made me want to find a repro of its true sequel.

I finally beat Streets of Rage for the first time last week. What an amazing game!! I was suprised that you were given a choice at the final boss to join or fight him. Of course I played through twice to choose both options. Lets just say that joining him was a lot less exciting option.

Last night I played through and beat megaman 1. I saw a post on nintendoage saying that you are a true gamer if you can beat the yellow devil without doing the pause glitch. So I took up the challenge and beat the devil without using the trick for the first time.

A couple months ago I beat Ocarina of Time 3D, and, I have a confession to make, I have NEVER beaten it before then, despite playing it nonstop as a kid, and around 1 month ago I beat the original Ocarina of Time. Also, that game was amazing, I would be honestly willing to say that 3D was better then the original I REALLY hope that they release Majora's Mask 3D/HD at some point. And I am currently in the process of beating Majora's Mask and Oracle of Ages, and once I beat Ages I'll try to beat Seasons, I'm around half way through both of them. Oh, and I also beat the GTA 5 campaign 100% around 6 months ago, after having like a 20 hour marathon playing it XD MAN do I love GTA 5. And I beat Half Life, Half Life: Opposing Force, Half Life: Blue Shift, Half Life 2, Half Life 2: Episode 1, and Half Life 2: Episode 2 around 7 months ago while also having like a 20 hour marathon with all of those games. And I also beat Call of Duty: Ghosts as well as Battlefield 3 around 2 months ago. That's about it when it comes to games I have beaten somewhat recently. OH, and before I forget, I ALSO beat Yoshi's Island I believe exactly 22 days ago

I just finished Mother 3. Fantastic game, too bad it was never released in the states. I think I actually enjoyed Earthbound more, but I still highly recommended Mother 3. Very wacky and unconventional story

Beat Mega Man 2 a couple weeks ago, the last boss before Wily is super hard.

I was practicing speedruns and beat Pokemon pearl 3 times yesterday.

Beat Mega Man 1, 2, 3, Ninja Gaiden 1, Contra 1, and Super Mario World (star road / 15 min run) the other night
