in the zelda boxed skyward sword collectors edition with the gold wii mote,  does it come with batteries installed in the remote or in the box or not at all? curious if corrosion could be an issue on a sealed copy, anyone who has opened theirs remember if the batteries were pre installed?

I too, have wondered this when debating on opening my copy. I think with them being modern batteries, it would be a long time before any leakage might occur, so I think they are pretty safe.

Edit: I known it came with batteries, just don't know if they are installed. I would guess not.

Well, if the 2 batteries come in the box but not in the Wiimote, then if those leak that is just as bad since it'd damage the box too. Hypothetical only!!

yeah the funny part years from now a bunch of these sealed sets will have those battery acid bombs inside
I don't think nintendo has ever 'installed' the batteries inside add-on's to games.

even ol' starfox 64 rumble pack version the maxell batteries came in separate
