Found this at a local gamestore today. I bought it because I'm a sucker for these kind of things. I suspect it to be a bootleg of some sort. On the top of the label it says "LH87 ROBOCOP". I have another cart in a similar case (42-in-1).

I think it's some kind of Brazilian release. Not real sure on that though. Reason I say that is because I've seen a few Brazilian Ninja Gaidens that look just like that. Nice find btw

Yeah, I would say it's definitely a bootleg, a lot of bootlegs here in Europe (especially Spain and Italy) have carts just like that, also with the label in the middle. Pretty nice find in the US, though.

I just opened it up because I noticed it was pretty heavy compared to a normal cart. Maybe this image will help to determine the origins!

Figured Speedy would know
I saw some "brazilian" Ninja Gaidens for sale a while back on a website so that's why I thought that's what they were. Apparently, they to are just pirates. lol

It definitely looks Brazilian. Obviously, it's a pirate. Those carts rule, because free adapters always rock.

It's a pirate cart. I don't think it come from Brazil. I have about 10 pirate games with that exact case. I found most of them in flea markets in Canada. The company behind these games in probably from Taiwan and exported tons of pirate carts to everywhere. The ID (LH87) on the cart mean it's pirate. Your cart has a famicom pcb attached to a converter to fit in the NES. Most pirate 72 pins games are like this.

So the question is... Is it worth anything?

I don't think you can get a lot for it. It's just a pirate of Robocop. I have a famicom pirate cart with the same label. I'd say it would sell for about $5 on eBay. If you list it on Ebay, the auction can be cancelled because you're not allowed to sell pirate stuff.

Heh, that's what I figured. I only paid a couple of bucks for it, so I'll hang on it to it.
