After much thought I am considering on purchasing an AVS instead of an Analogue NT Mini ,partly due to price /availability.Is the AVS compatible with carts like the NWC ,or the Famicom version of the Castlevania 3 ?

I think Bunnyboy tested the NWC, as he has a gold.

Famicom CVIII will work.

The AVS' compatability is ridiculously well done. VRC6 works, Famicom Disk System works, Family BASIC and all accessories required work. Hell, you can load Excitebike tracks with a tape deck using the AVS.

The only thing I havent tried is a genuine copy of Lagrange Point, which has that FM synth chip in it.

I don't know if the NT will do those things, but as it stands my opinion is that the AVS is the best hardware clone ever made.

Castlevania 3 Famicom

Couldn't find a video of NWC, but why wouldn't it work? (spoiler: it does)

For the most part, it plays anything I've thrown at it. The only titles for me that it doesn't play properly are some Hong Kong demakes. Final fantasy 7 nes and Pokémon yellow nes. The graphics are a little garbled in ff7 and doesn't save. Pokémon yellow doesn't save as well. Other than that, it plays everything I've tried so far
