I'm wondering if you could add an entry for Super Mario Land 3: Limited Edition. There are 30 copies floating around.

Here are some recent sales threads:

Not sure how I missed that one. I'll blame it on when my computer broke. I added it, but couldn't find the original thread.

Oh, my WTB thread is very popular. The sportos, the motorheads, geeks, sluts, bloods, wastoids, dweebies, Richard craniums - they all adore it. They think it's a righteous thread.
I'd also like to add that I've got my father's gun and a *scorching* price guide for aftermarket Nintendo games.

I just dug up an oldie but goodie thread.

This may be a good update to add: Super Nintendo Campus Challenge Gold (10).

Before I go browse more pages looking for this, does anyone remember if the Battle Kid 2 LE prices are from eBay or here? Says $250, and I'm just wondering if that's a pretty solid price estimate right now. Thanks!

Solid as a rock. I believe three copies have exchanged hands and they were all at $250. Private/NA sales.

Ugh. I thought that these might exist. And I'm almost positive I went through all of Bunny's posts. I'll get it updated here soon.

Nice to see that the titles I'm adding are getting smaller in number. The list may be approaching the finish line... at least until something new gets released!

K, with Retrozone doing updates on their games, I have decided that until they officially move a game to the discontinued section, I will be leaving everything available or temporarily available marked at his price. For one, people buy out their stock so quick, I would have to change this thing day to day. I ain't got that kinda time.  I will still be tracking sales elsewhere, but here is my concern.

I meant this to kinda show people how they were ignorantly overpaying for games that were readily available. However, I may have given the same sellers a place to go and say, "This guy has it marked for this price because it's not available right now," much like this guy is doing over in this thread.

So from here on out, starting prices only. When they are discontinued, I will change the spreadsheet to reflect the sales I have seen. I want no part in helping resellers, only educating buyers. Well, I guess I do want to help sellers, too, because you also need to know what your stuff is worth... I think you guys know what I mean.

I'm seeing Dragon Leap NA Edition priced at $200 on the first post, but then the last five or so sales referenced in the thread are around 75-80. Is the $200 wrong, or am I misreading?

Also neither NesSnake or the Retrovision have been available for several years, so that label is pretty misleading.

Nessnake goes for around 75
Edit: Link to a NES snake sale, exactly 75:

I don't care to say the exact figure I sold and re-bought my Retrovision for but it certainly wasn't 125

I looked at my database and I must've transposed the sales. The TMG version sold for crazy money, the NA is static. I fixed it and apologize. I appreciate you pointing that out.

I'm disappointed that a Mod came in here to correct me, but didn't bother to read the whole thread. Seriously, just look like three posts above yours and you would see why I have chosen to do that. Lazy!

Um...  I did read your whole thread.   I just don't agree that you treat something that hasn't been available for around 3 years as "Available".

Sure it makes sense for BattleKid, and the others that come in and out of stock frequently every few months or so. It would be a waste of time to update info on all those titles----I agree completely.

Fellow retrousb fans, like myself, we realize that NESnake and Retrovision are two strange anomalies.  With Retrovision, they take an extreme amount of time to make so it makes sense that Brian never makes em.  With NESnake, nobody really knows why Brian doesn't ever re-stock it.

So, I think after something has not been there to purchase for several years, you may consider a different approach.

With NESnake we have a solid price point history. I could probably dig and find 3 or 4 examples of 75 dollars.

Retrovision just doesn't trade hands, so we don't really have any solid point with a price.  As someone who has bought and sold in the last year, and seen several WTB threads come along offering around 250 with no hits.  I'd say either 250+ or 300+ seems to be a reasonable suggestion for a starting point.  ( for the record that's less than what I bought and sold for)

I didn't come in here to cause controversy or put you down. Personally I LOVE this list.   I came in here as a fellow homebrew collector. Moderation-wise everything here is just fine.... I just want an accurate list so people can be informed.

Hypothetically if brand new member "A" comes on nintendo age and wants to be a homebrew collector.  Then JD falls on hard times and wants to sell all his homebrews.   I post all my stuff For Offer.   Brand new member "A" will have no chance on my NESnake or Retrovision if they offer me 26 and 125 respectively.   If they offer 75 and 300, they probably win. That's being "informed" and not "naive".

Might not seem like a big deal, but there has been quite a bit of interest with Retrovision lately at least.

You don't agree with my opinion fine.  But if you cal me lazy, you is silly man.    Hence the long-winded reply.

I agree with JD. Love the list and the work that you're doing, Ferris, but for stuff that we know is out of stock for extended periods having a baseline for what it ACTUALLY sells for is useful information and seems like it is in keeping with the point of the thread.

According to the list SMB2J is almost 250? Is that correct? So a BIN on ebay for 80ish was a steal?

Current Collections:
NES: 729/776, 710+ with variants, 220+ Boxes, 206+ Manuals
Super NES: 181/773

Yep. I linked the auctions for it, so you can always double check me. I've seen two sell for the $250 price.

Looks like you have NWC with dispwitch edition listed as 150 (must be a typo I'm thinking)

(Fpsed brought that to my attention.)

Also, just ordered the NESK-1, thanks again for keeping this list

Alright, so I've been working and I was being lazy. Glad you responded, but still glad I called you out, even if you are a mod! Someone needs to keep you guys on your toes. Hear are my thoughts.

I like blanket rules. The minutes I start making exceptions, then I'll have to make more. I mean, I get it, it's really just one or two games that need to be updated, but I literally watched a reseller come on here and throw my list back in my face. I would rather have those two games sit at the list price until Bunny puts more back up for sale than help out someone who didn't even realize they were using me against myself.

And to be honest, I don't have a price for the Retrovision. I have only seen one ever and it wasn't for sale. I think I've heard $200, maybe a little more, but I need someone to tell me what they paid before I could do anything anyway.

But you're right. I started this as a list for people who wanted to know prices. I've become a little bitter it would seem in my old age.

I sold a Princess Rescue cart + manual for $130, through NintendoAge. I don't keep sale records in my thread, but I have feedback for that transaction.
