Hello everyone. I need some help.

I recently aquired a group of "not for resale" demo games for super nintendo.

i am familiar with what the games were used for.

i have:

contra iii

donkey kong country 3

tetris attacks

streetfighter 2

ken griffey jr baseball

ncaa basketball

stunt race

these all have "not for resale" printed with the front label.

Some say "property of nintendo" on a paper label on the back with a store number

Some have a clear "property of NMI" with a redmond, wa address

they are:

contra iii

street fighter 2

i ALSO have:

super metroid

star fox

stanley cup

super off road

killer instict

and Maybe donkey kong country 2....

These DO NOT have "not for resale" printed with the front label, BUT they DO have a "not for resale demo game only, property of nintendo" label on the back.

Some Also have a clear "property of NMI" with a redmond, wa address on the front label

they are:

star fox

super off road

I say maybe on donkey kong country 2 because someone peeled off the back "property of nintendo" label

They also tried to peel the back and front of several of the others as well....Sad.

i have a personal experience when i was 16 and i helped to Repaint a hospital.

They had a special Super Nintendo "Cart" with a TV/System attached from Nintendo and MANY games for sick kids to play.

i noticed that ALL of the games had the "Property of Nintendo" label on the back of the cart, except for the ones that came printed on the front.

my question is:

are all of these considered "not for resale" carts and are the star fox and super metroid worth much more than the normal version?

THEY WERE NOT PEELED

Im not looking to sell just for info....

Thank you

So lucky you won that auction!! I missed it. I'm sure lots of these guys will have some facts for you.. I don't know much about 'not for resale' carts.

Yes, those are all Not For Resale carts. The ones with actual NFR label on the front are worth the most. The ones with only stickers saying NFR are not quite as sought after.

With NFR's the more popular games are usually worth more, but there are some NFR's such as Mortal Kombat 2 that are worth a lot simply because they're obviously rarer than the others. Also, NFR's with actual differences from the retail version are usually more valuable as well.

Need these items: Ocarina of Time Gold NFR (just has NFR sticker on backside), Ocarina of Time 3D E3 NFR.

Depends on who you ask. Most people don't consider the back label ones part of a complete set. I personally do, but I'm one of the few. Generally the back label only ones go for around $20-$25.

The DKC2 you have should also have a NFR sticker over the end label. Unfortunately, without any of the NFR stickers, yours wouldn't be worth any more than a normal copy of the game.

PM me if you have the following Gamecube Case: Kiosk demo #17!

No. You can view the official list of NFR label SNES games here:

http://www.nintendoage.com/index....

We don't list the sticker-only ones.

PS: If you have time you should take some HQ pics/scans of some of the SNES NFR's we're missing .
