Ok guys, I'm ecstatic to announce that the company I work for has agreed to let us host this site on one of their "big dog" servers. The server is located in Texas and is part of our company's cluster that's professionally managed and has 99.99% uptime, etc. Right now, that server isn't being used, so we'll have it all to ourselves.

What does this mean to us? It means no timeouts! It also means that I can actually get on the site and work without wanting to throw a rock at my computer (something I'd like to do daily), also due to the timeouts

At any rate, the estimated date that my company will be able to help me on this is after July 4th. That said, the site will likely be offline on the 5th or 6th until we get everything copied over and the DNS updated.

LOL, true, but I don't have any intentions of leaving the company. They've been pretty good to me, especially of late.

Yeah, it's been a rough few months, that's for sure. I'm just glad everyone has been pretty understanding about it and stuck it out. Should be well worth the wait I hope.

You only hear out of one ear?

Right now, anyway I have a degenerative hearing disease called stapedial otosclerosis and had one ear operated on last year (twice, unfortunately). My other ear gets operated on in October this year and once that happens, I'll have near-perfect hearing, something I've haven't experienced since I was about 10 years old. I was basically 75% deaf up until 8 months ago.

It really is amazing how much better your hearing is now, even I can tell a difference from talking too you on the phone. I didn't know he had a hearing problem either when I visited him last year, but it wasn't a problem cause I have a big mouth and talk loud anyways You and Nancy coming up Dain, I forgot to ask you earlier?

I wish -- Nancy is going to West Virginia that week to visit her dad before the baby comes. I'm running low on vacation days and need the rest for the operation and when the little bugger arrives Maybe we could come up a weekend though sometime after you guys get back from Vegas.
