Yea, especially with him taking time off.  Some brutalness in that match. Was pleasantly surprised.

I sent Punk a Tweet thanking him for justifying my friends and I's PPV purchase tonight.

RE: Cena/Lesnar. They had a choice tonight between the adult crowd and the four year old's. They chose the later and that left a bitter taste in all of our mouths.

That's my PPV story.

Anyone else watch the 1000th episode of Raw last night. Was great seeing a lot of the legends back, and nice seeing a lot of the old clips.

It wasn't really all I had hoped for. Seeing the whole DX crew together again was probably the biggest highlight. Everything else just felt kinda "meh". I also felt like Bret Hart should've had a much bigger role in the show. He could have easily been a guest referee in the IC title match, instead of just a ring announcer. And of course, I was greatly disappointed that Stone Cold was not in attendance, considering that he basically put Monday Night Raw on the map. The way the show ended, I was fully expecting him to run out and take down both Cena and Punk, and maybe share a beer or two (or seven) with The Rock. But alas, it was not to be.

First Raw I have watched in quite a while. It was fun, but I was hoping for more with the old guys. The majority of them were just thrown in there for that Heath Slater segment. It was fun seeing the rest of DX (minus crazy Chyna) to start the show. I was really hoping Paul Bearer was going to come out with Kane and the Undertaker. I also wanted another big surprise return, most of the big names we had already seen or knew were going to be there.

Oh well, at least there was Dude Love!

Growing up i was obsessed with wrestling, we used to have this old rental place and i spent most of my childhood watching 80's - 90's ppv's and most of the old wcw/ecw events. i've probably watched every single wwe ppv from 1990 - 2005. i almost never watch wwe now, aside from a few guys i just find it to be brutal to watch anymore. tna is decent but i miss the way wrestling used to be, alot of the characters are just fucking stupid now(like that guy in he dx segment).

Please pray for him. Sources say he was dead for 20 minutes before being brought back. Brain damage starts at 5 minutes.

Highly doubt that, they'd stop after so long.   Heard they brought him back with an AED backstage though.

If you didnt catch RAW last night or royal rumble on sunday heres an up date for the road to wrestle mania. John Cena won the rumble and will face the WWE champion at wrestle mania, Rock is now the WWE champion. Jericho is back and so is Lesner after a 6 month leave. Also the streak is not over either appartently, so Im sure there will be more details to fallow. However we will have to see what happens and what matches will be made over the next 2 months.

I don't know how to call this one. I was happy with Taker sitting at 20-0. Great send off too. Punk has to win, he can't go over a year as champion, then lose 3 PPVs in a row.

I hope Punk wins, but I don't see it happening. But I think Taker respects him and wouldn't be against putting him over so there's a slight chance which will keep things interesting.
