The Big Trade:

In the spirit of spring cleaning, it seems that it is finally time to post this. I'm in no position to outright purchase the fabled Garage Cart, UFC: Pink Lady Frog, or XMAS 08, but I can trade roughly an equal amount of garbage from around the house. Indeed, it might be worth even more collectively! Right now we're talking two protos and two LEs, but hey, you're smart enough to do that math, right? Gee, it might even be a decent financial plan to buy one of the aforementioned games and strike a deal. Hmm... So keep the pile, sell it all, do a bit of both, whatever. The pot will continue to grow until someone strikes me a deal, and then we'll just restart it for an offer towards the other game. Also, all of my protos are actual protos, you'll be getting earlier revisions of the games that have served play testing duty, and the boxes may have very obvious defects. They are protos for a reason, that reason being that some times it takes a couple of tries to get things right ! If you have any questions, or are on the verge of obtaining a game that you'd like to trade my way, feel free to let me know. They may just disappear at any time, or sit in a box for years, who knows... A good trade, like a fine wine, takes time. Then again, Rex Goliath is the best anyways!

*Note: I need to find the hinges for the S&R proto, or rip them off of another box; the label for the 0-to-X proto needs to be printed and stuck on (not much different than the final version); and the 0-to-X LE is awaiting touch up on the red portions of the "X;" oh, and the final revision of the game. Assume that none of these issues will be fixed, but feel free to make a trade conditional upon them.

0-to-X stud. You may remember it from the announcement photos. It has all of the contents of the final LE (not pictured, see auction).





The purple looked great on this one, but it was too tough to keep up for the other colors. Cassette j-card is not the nicest since it was a trial run.





Protos teach a lot, notice the severe bleeding of the purple onto the black. Also note the outer clasp hinge.

Bump! A later Twin Famicom (black and green) Player 1 controller would work too, since the cords are longer, though that's probably even harder to find.

Looking for another controller!

Super Retro Trio by Retrobit comes with some excellent reproduction SNES controllers that use the 9-pin Genesis standard. Yes, these are actual 9-pin Genesis controllers, not five pin SNES controllers with a 9-pin Dsub plug like most clones. I'm not sure if Retrobit sells them separately or not but they feel just as sturdy as genuine SNES controllers.

I have an Arc the Lad Collection for $50 shipped if you get in the mood for pulling the trigger. Discs show light wear, all extras are present and in superb condition.

I have a lead on Arc the Lad (unless someone wants to trade?), but still looking for that GBA.

Made a slight update.

It was asked if I'm looking for anything else for the pot, and the distant third choice is 8-Bit XMAS 2008. Only standard LEs will be traded for it, however, the protos stay for the big two. The regular LEs may also be traded away for other things, so be sure to let me know if you think they might interest you, so that they are not gone when you finally do come looking to claim them...
