So I went to the place where I found this game and was prepared to make my offer of $100 just for the "sealed" Dragon Warrior IV. I had forgotten that I'd picked out a bunch of other stuff too that I wanted just to see what he'd sell for.
So, here's what I ended up with:

All for $125. Even if the Dragon Warrior is a fake, I'm OK with what I paid.
Anyway...here are the pics (note, there is a crease across about 75% of the box horizontally, about 3/4" up from the bottom on the front of the game):
Everything looks legit from what I know and have read. The seams overlap on the sides, they are not at a 90 degree angle, absolutely no wear on top where the box opens, everything looks perfectly clean inside...
