My wii u just lost its internet connection for no reason last night and Ive tried resetting it and the router but to no avail. Also tried the error code look up on nintendos site which is a joke. Any ideas?

Have you tried deleting the setting and reentering it? Also, I know the Wii U won't read some routers based on their security type so maybe your router magically changed it? Another alternative is buying the LAN cable adapter and just wire your Wii U to the router.

It may not be the Wii U. Some routers have a fixed number of wireless connections and if you add another it will kick off one of the previous connections. I would encourage you to include your router in the trouble shooting process, possibly starting with a reboot of the router. Resetting the info on the wii is also a good idea.
