Hate it for him. I liked watching him play when he was healthy. He always beat my Titans.

After watching a dumpster fire of a team for all but 2 of the last ~25 years I finally have optimism going into this season for the Browns

I love to tease my Bostonian wife (to be fair though she's Red Sox first) how everyone outside of New England is sick of the Patriots being in the Super Bowl four times out of the last five and it'd be a nice change of pace to let someone else in for a change! Obviously she doesn't agree

Can't believe Luck retired! Really sucks for him, but the injuries were just too much. Glad he has a chance to actually walk away.

Everyone knew that his career would be shortened by the lack of help he had on the oline and running game. Grigson was a joke of a GM and ruined what should have been a future hall of famer. Best of luck to him, he always seemed like a standout guy. I can't say i blame him. How many millions is it worth continuing that level of punoshment? Especially when you've already earned 9 figures in your career.

There's a reason why brady, brees, and rivers keep going strong after 15+ years a piece in the league. They always have had a good oline and running game. Maybe luck retiring in what should have been his prime will be a lesson to teams in the future.

They sucked for Luck and this is their payback. Good for Luck walking away while he physically still can.

Overall I agree, not expected a ton out of this first rebuild year, but am optimistic.  It's our 2nd year with a new defense with a ton of new additions (some veterans even).  If the offense can get clicking, we might surprise some teams  .

The Texans were an embarrassment in that game against Dallas. Hopefully they can do better.

I expect the Bears defense to take step back this year under Pagano.

Fangio was a special DC. He turned the Bears defense around from one of the worst/worst in the league to respectable with lesser talent. When he got the talent, they were elite. Also, last year they were extremely healthy and caused many turnovers. I expect both of those numbers to decline this year.

I think the Bears should win, but it will be close. I hope Trubisky grows drastically this year. I'm not very impressed. I question his intelligence. Hearing him talk in an interview is like hearing a HS freshman talk.

I'd be shocked if GB wins @CHI.  I also considered sitting Rodgers in fantasy (have Garapallo (sp.) as my backup) but I also believe in rolling with your studs early in the season.  GB also can never run the ball to save their lives so if GB does anything, it'll be due to Rodgers.

Id start another qb over rodgers if I had another solid one. Wouldnt start a riskier player like jackson over him though.

Got Cohen in a couple leagues so hopefully he is still a big factor.

I'm starting Wilson over Rodgers. I'll take my 15 points.

Don't sell GB defense short. They are seriously improved. This will be a much different team than last year. Lots of young WR coming into their own too.

Also Rodgers>all these QBs named

As a die-hard Packers fan, I am enjoying your contribution to this thread.  I'm a realist about GB, but many reasons to be excited (dig our DC and not McCarthy offense anymore!).

McCarthy was a fine coach, but he was just unwilling to adapt. LaFleur could be a disaster... But at least it's something different!

Well after all these years of drafting Antonio Brown religiously, what a great move to avoid him this year lol. He's won me at least 2 championships. His drama makes OBJ look like a role model.
