The Guardian Legend is apparently easy to pass through, especially if you acquire the entire weapon inventory and maximum chips. However, after beating the game you get a password that allows you to play only through Shoot 'Em Up corridors.

The ultimate level of mastery would probably be to pass through all those corridors since you have no way to upgrade your caracter within these parts.

I think 4 thieves would be harder.

Addams Family requires a certain amount of money to complete. I'm pretty sure its $1,000,000 and if you miss to much of it you have to start over. It has no extra modes.

Three Stooges is kind of the same. You have to win a certain amount of money before you loose all of your fingers or run out of turns.

Would it be too hardcore to think that "Supreme Mastery" of Mega Mans should be beating levels blaster only and without any damage? I know I've seen no damage runs on various stages of the game, and while it would be near impossible to do it all in one sitting I bet there are people out there who can beat many levels without any damage.

There are bosses that you can't beat without taking damage and blaster-only, I think. Air Man comes to mind. I don't think it's possible to dodge all of the tornadoes, given their spacing.

I would think for Supreme Mastery of Mega Man games it would be no-death, blaster-only (except when other weapons are absolutely required). The no-damage thing is excessive, and probably not possible.

Agree. Possible to get through maybe one stage at a time using only the main arm cannon without taking a hit, sure, but an entire game, hell no, no matter how good you are, no living creature can be that good. If anyone can beat any of the Megaman games without getting hit, they are beyond mastery, they are robots themselves, Dr. Wily could really use someone like that. But then I managed to get all the way to Frankenstein and Igor once in Castlevania using just the whip without taking a hit, but again, can't keep up perfection for an entire game, that'd be a once in a lifetime stroke of luck or I'd be an inhuman machine, and the Megaman games overall are much harder, stages are longer and there are more of them, more stuff coming at you from every direction, and some robot masters are near impossible to dodge all of their attacks.

Well, with certain sport titles such as Ice Hockey, the only way to finish the game would be to beat ALL of the teams on Speed 5. This means that the player must also pick another team, in order to beat the team that he or she had previously been using. It's pretty silly if you ask me, but that's just the way it is .

The instruction manual claims that by beating all of the teams on Speed 5, the players will be able to unlock a cheat mode, whereby he or she can alter the sizes of the computer's hockey players. This in indeed the case, as I have unlocked this before.

Yeah, not a true ending, but this is the closest thing to an ending that Ice Hockey offers. Many don't even know about it actually .

As far as "Supreme Mastery" of Ice Hockey is concerned, I would say that beating all of the teams on Level 5 without giving up a goal would be best.

Another of those exceptional NES games that boggle the mind, just came to mind: T & C Surf Designs! It doesn't even have an ending, go figure hehe. It just loops over and over, as it's essentially a points based game.

The only thing that I ever managed to do in this game was to loop the surfing level over all the way until the Round read 01 again, so I basically cleared 100 rounds and maxed out the score at Round 41, for those of you who might be curious. I don't consider this as having completed the game though, as I failed to do as well during the skateboarding sections and got OWNED to put it accurately lol!

I have a very good challenge for Tecmo Super Bowl (NES).

Go undefeated in the regular season/playoffs/super bowl with the Patriots or Colts. Tie breakers if need be go to point differential.

Or, of course, if no one goes undefeated you can go to best record or furthest advanced.

Even the best Tecmo players will struggle in the playoffs with those teams against a juiced San Fran, New York, or Houston.

Good idea compiling these all in one place. If you can use anything from my endings guide, have at it:
http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/n...
I've been working on that for about 10 years. I need to update some of the earlier entries, but for the last 5 years or so I've gone into a lot of detail on the games I've finished.

10 Yard Fight is a pretty easy game, beating all the teams did not take long. I would say that should be normal. You might need to set a PAR score for supreme mastery (beat all teams by at least 3 touchdowns or something)

When you beat worldrunner, you get a code for a harder mode, if you beat the game on hard mode without continuing, I would call that supreme mastery
