I've only heard briefly (and seen a couple of pics) about this before. Thanks a LOT for the whole story, one of a kind for sure.

fun to read, i did miss a "summary" to show which awesomely rare games were included (the picture was too small to see them all)

like the final fight, super copa etc

but for the rest it was a fun read and a "wish this happens to me"

Thanks for the article Maximus... I've been wondering what the story behind all of your sealed SNES games was.

I was glued to this article the whole way through, great story and also a great reflection of the best of the NA community spirit.

Great story Curtis! Crazy how sometimes things just seem to fall in place. Really cool that you met Bronty, I can't think of anyone better to have walked you through exactly what you had.

Thanks guys!

I had a lot of fun writing it.

I love the E-zine, so i am glad i could contribute in some way and provide some entertianment for everyone else.

In terms of what games were in the score, it was basically EVERY 3rd party games made for the SNES minus a couple (nothing too valuable), but no Ogre Battle, No Chronotrigger and NO Nintendo titles for the most part.

So there was:

  • Dracula X
  • Aero Fighters
  • Super Copa
  • MBR / Speed Racer
  • ISS
  • ISSD
  • EVO
  • Fire Dogs
  • Set of Ultima games
  • Final Fight set of 4
  • Secret of Mana & Evermore
  • Fun N Games
  • Rock N Roll Racing
  • Shadowrun
  • Metal Marines
  • Breath of Fire 1 & 2
  • Act Raiser 1 & 2
  • Chavez 1 & 2
  • Mega Man 7 - X3
  • Soul Blazer
  • Super Castlevania (original release)

and many many others!!!

thats the funny part Chad, there was 1 copy of every 3rd party game.

The few doubles that were there were nothing even worth mentioning other than 2: Shadowrun (one of my favourite games) and Super Turrican.
