Was wondering the value on these two statues:

Also, what would the value be on N64 kiosk arms?  This guy used to work at Best Buy creating the installations.  I already picked up a couple of nice posters/displays from him, as well as a PS1 kiosk.  He has some spare parts sitting around and some are N64 kiosk arms.

edit: I picked the statues up today as well as the kiosk arms.  The N64 system was in fact the demo one, which is pretty awesome.  I also got the top portion (where the system goes) of a PS1 kiosk... missing the base and the lighted topper.  Does have speakers attached.  I also got ANOTHER set of PS1 kisok speakers with the cover art panels in them... no clue if they work or not... kind of busted up.  I updated this imgur link with the new photos of all the angles on the statues.

Most of the red on Mario is super sun-faded, yet the other colors are quite vibrant still.  Mario has a metal rod in each foot (guessing for the base mount), so he kind of leans forward (still surprisingly sturdy, though)... I'm thinking of just hacking these off.  Mario has quite a few blemishes, especially on his hat (as photos show).  Sonic's color is nice, yet the tip of his tail is missing as well as another small hole on one of his spikes right by his tail... kind of sucks but oh well, I'm still happy with the pick-up.  Sonic also has two loops on his shoulders for hanging I'm guessing, as well as a metal rod sticking out of his ass which is kind of unpleasant to look at... haha

Anyways, there's the update and I am still looking for pricing on these puppies.  I have also already had quite a few inquiries, mostly about Sonic, so with these detailed photos hopefully we can get somewhere.  Thanks a ton!

To be honest I don't really know prices on the statues, but I do know that the Sonic is quite a bit harder to find than the Mario. I've seen the Mario in a decent amount of collections or at stores over the years. I've only seen a handful of the Sonics. 3 if I can recall including yours.

The statues I feel would be atleast $1500 each. They both have somewhat extensive condition issues. Awesome score!!

Believe me I have searched and come up basically empty... my google-fu isn't super potent, but I like to think I can still navigate and I just can't find anything on Sonic, and very little on Mario.

Thanks for the help and kind words so far guys.

The last Mario statue I saw listed at open auction ended at ~$1800 I believe, but that was the newer version and better condition. I'm not sure if the creepy version is more desirable or not.

Sonic is definitely harder to find as previous mentioned, but probably fewer potential buyers.

I would agree with Sign's evaluation at $1500 a piece, but the condition may limit much more than that. Pretty sweet pick up, I'm jealous.

Mario in this shape $1000 max, Sonic is rough but a lot harder to find $1000 seems right but restored sonic could easy do $2500-3000. I would like to buy the sonic if you end up putting it up for sale.

It was on Ebay yesterday, I believe, but now I don't see it in active or sold listings. I'm guessing maybe it sold here or on another site. It had like 30 watchers at 3k in the first day or so.

I ended up getting a crazy offer for the pair and took it... substantially more than $1000/per.

Nice! Congrats.

It would seem game room stuff/signs/decorations are seriously on the rise. Good time to sell!
