Hello all,

I'm just starting the final game of the Castlevania NES trilogy (II) and I fear that once I'm done with those, outside of Dracula X, I won't be able to play any games using the classic style (i.e. not Metroidvania). I know that there are several hacks out there, but I wanted to get a listing of the if I could and maybe get some of your recommendations for which are the best.

I got a friend a copy of Castlevania Blood Moon, a repro of the original. We both liked it, although quite a bit difficult, it was cool to be able to move and whip at the same time.

what about super castlevania 4, thats in the same style...

I have a cart of Castlevania Overflow Darkness, it looks and plays great, but very difficult, so if you are up for the challenge give it a shot. I'd recommend downloading the rom and emulating before you spend 30-40 $ on a repro cart. just me $.02
