Charge Man as Plow Man... his charge attack reminds me of a plow clearing snow.



...not as friendly though.

OK, loving the ideas! I'm thinking of dropping robot Santa in favor of Light Man (Christmas lights.
Wreath man for Gyro.
Elf Man will be Gravity.
Rudolph will be rush.

Update: I've started work on Elf Man. Sadly, I realized that I simply do not have the time to properly complete this rom hack by Christmas of this year. For my birthday I will be getting several key parts for making reproductions, and will aim to do a Cart only run of this for Next Christmas. I'll take preorders once I'm done with phase 5, and not a minute before.

Absolutely in for a cart, I can't wait to see the end product! (ie: play the rom and see any/all possible label creations )

Update: OK, I've been working on Elf Man (Gravity man). I was trying to figure out a way to make an elf fit into the sprite without making it tall... So I gave it stilts!

you could try to make it "robot'ish" kinda a megaman robot, if you want I can try to make it, just send me the base sprite

I added a poll. If people want them robot-y, I'll try reworking the design a bit. I appreciate the offer, but I'm doing this as a way to become more familiar with how NES games work, so I'd prefer to do everything myself.

Based on the poll as of now, I'll stick to the real characters motif.

As an update, nearly done with elf man. For a character who does so little, Gravity Man has a lot of subtle sprite switches. I have two of the main poses done, and am finishing the third. Also, he now throws a candy cane. Thinking of making it a present though...

I've been thinking about this and low and behold it's being made. Wreath Man was one I thought of too. How about Sleigh Man for Charge Man? And his weapon would be the Sleigh Dash...and in dashing through the snow....yadda yadda. And Dreidel Man sounds interesting. Or Manora Man...That could be Wave Man too.

This is really inspiring me to draw these out...especially Snow Man...I have a bitchin' design for him in my head.

Nutcracker Man! Or Toy Man. Looks kinda like one of those toy soldiers from Clown Man's stage in MM 8.
