What are some of the games? I'd do a PP loan if there are some titles in there you don't want and I could have as 'interest' for providing cash when it's needed, as well as reimbursement by an agreed upon date. Is that a scummy thing to offer? I hope not. I'll let you be the judge.

AYB, keep any and all jokes related to me loaning my PP to Zoso so that he can bang the bevy of big bitches you've mentioned, to yourself. By the way, 'Bevy of Big Bitches' will be my next hip hop album, so look out for it in a store near you!

^I'm assuming jokes involving your mom off-limits also?

On a more serious note, if you have a job, you could always ask for an advance on your next paycheque.

Mom jokes only hours after Mother's Day ended? For shame, dude, for shame...

The paycheck advance is a good suggestion! You could also sell some stuff. I keep a pile of things I no longer value incase I ever need/want to pawn or craigslist them.

Mom jokes are only acceptable when they're about MY mom. It's the rule

-------------------------

"It's always amazing to me how some of the most worthless games from a gaming perspective tend to fetch outrageous amounts of money. But then again, it could be said that something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I'm curious if the high bidder of the $873.04 Stadium Events (cart-only) realizes that it's nowhere nearly as rare as about 20+ games I can think of that sell for 1/10th that amount?  At any rate, I wanted to draw attention to this trend: if people say it's rare, it must be true, and therefore it must be had at any price."

I've decided to whore out to one extremely morbidly obese chick for $250.00. $75.00 for the amount of moonshine i will consume prior to.

This is turning out to be too good to be true...he was responding to me emails but as soon as i asked him if the 254 games were seperate carts, he stopped replying.

I'd certainly pass on all of that, especially if $175 is pretty tight for you. If you didn't have the $175 to buy a set that would have at least doubled your investment, definitely don't waste your money on a boxed Power Set with a pirate cart.

Someone did that to me on ebay when I was still green (this was like 10 years ago). They posted the lot as "64 gameboy games" and proceeded to list each game individually as if they were all seperate loose carts. I won it for about $120 and was all excited that I had gotten a great deal at $2 per cart. Later that week a bubble wrap envelope arrives in my mailbox, and I'm thinking "oh what the hell is this..." and as you guessed I open it to reveal a 64-in-1 multicart! The description never indicated it was a multi-cart in any way, and I totally flipped my sh*t all over the guy in one one of the nastiest emails I've ever written (which based on my normally cool demeanor, probably wasn't even as nasty as it could have been). The seller acted all hurt and claimed he didn't mean to deceive and gave me money back on the contingency that I ship the game back myself, so I didn't lose much. Later I noticed he had relisted it and had disclaimers all over the place indicating it was a multi-cart...

would of made a good story, but oh well

it's still a good story to learn from. I see pirate cards go for unethical prizes. I buy bulk and most of the time with gb games theres a pirated game with it. It's good to check the facts and ask pics. Also pop those bubbles of ignorance of these sellers! Most dont know they sell you pirates. Just my 2 cents. Hope you find a better deal soon. You should, just by karma alone now ;P
