caught a short listing for 50 snes games friday morning. guy was taking offers and after i sent mine he comes back and says he wants 1700for everything. we go back and forth and he's taking 1300 from another guy. skip ahead to yesterday he contacts me and says other guy flaked and i end getting the bundle for closer to my original offer. pretty happy overall.

Nice dude.  At least you didn't get the shaft on this one.

It's supposedly Chrono Trigger. It's a legit board, just haven't verified the game yet. I already have a copy so it'll be for sale, but not sure what to do about the label. I don't want to put a repro label on it out of principle, but I'd be ok with something obviously custom. I just don't know if there is anything like that available.

These all showed up at my favorite local place in the span of a couple days. Pretty unusual variety- I've only seen Yakuza 2 there once in the past couple years and the others not at all.

PS2 Yakuza 2
PS3 Demon's Souls Deluxe
GC Chibi-Robo
GBC Metal Gear Solid

$60 for everything

That's a steal! Especially considering how uncommon the deluxe Demons Souls is and the fact that Chibi Robo has skyrocketed in price.

cib contra force! this one was posted on my local CL but in a town an hour away or so. ended up doing paypal + mail and it worked out. feel pretty lucky on this one- it had been listed quite a while ago but nobody picked it up. the value on this has jumped considerably since then but they didn't check prices when it was relisted. ended up being $208 total, pretty happy with that.

Super excited for more mail yesterday:

Nobunaga's Ambition II
Might & Magic
Ultime Warriors of Destiny
TMNT 3
Harvest Moon

The NES titles are all complete with maps and everything and in really nice shape. Harvest Moon is missing the manual and the box is dinged up but the cart is excellent and it has the registration card. Pretty thrilled to get this all for $150.

Nice pick-up man. Seeing as the HM cart is worth more than your total paid, I'd say it was a pretty badass deal.

Got this from a local Craigslist deal yesterday.

Panasonic Q GameCube with controller, remote and box. $250

Tray is a little sticky and I can't read any of the buttons on the remote but everything seems to be more or less working. I wasn't really looking for one but I'm pretty sure that's an excellent price for a boxed set, so I don't mind jumping on it.

I've been looking for a NES Last Action Hero cart for a while now and came across the lowest BIN I'd seen in forever with a stock photo and "acceptable" condition. I took a chance on it and it paid off- I got a really nice cart along with a surprise instruction manual in good shape. $32 total.

been a while since I had a legit good pull off ebay, but I had one come in today.

http://item.ebay.com/322447734523...

some early but really nice shape NES carts, including that Sqoon on the top row, $35 shipped.

was concerned the guy was gonna flake as he'd sold and cancelled two listings with that cart already. my guess is he decided he was underselling the battletoads cart he originally had in the group, as that wasn't included this time. he also posted a pretty tremendous lot of boxed genesis games that missed due to being asleep. but I'm happy to get what I can at this point, and so this was great.

Dude..seeing some of your finds from the first page of this thread is amazing. Back when you could still find games in the wild for good prices, and even some of the stuff you picked up on ebay. You must have an amazing collection!

Man I'd love to find an affordable copy of Sqoon with a good label. I've had two of them and both had pretty bad label damage. Nice snag.

thanks man. I agree it's definitely gotten tougher. craigslist is basically over at this point, the few things that get posted here are gone before I get out of work. that local store I was pulling a bunch of stuff from in the early posts has caught on. stuff still slips by (even have something in the mail today) but they are much more aware now. ebay is also a fight now. i only got that lot because there was no text to tip anyone and I wasn't sleeping when I should have been. The sega stuff he posted later was even more ridiculous but that was like 230 friday morning and I couldn't wait that out :/

as an aside it's kind of nuts this thread has been going for 7 years now.

Sqoon is one of those games that's known to have crappy labels. Mine's a bit damaged on the lower right corner but I've seen way worse on this game
