So I was sorting through my PSP games, cataloging them, when I noticed I have two copies of Rengoku. I shrug it off seeing how I buy copies a lot (very forgetful) but then I take a good look at the two discs...they're different. One has a redish label design, the other blue/black. One is by Konami the other Hudson. One has an M rating...one has no rating. One has more legal info on it, the other doesn't.

Now I don't have the case or manual for either of these so I'm just going off of the discs...I haven't put them in my PSP (long story short my PSP has issues) so I can't tell anything from playing them...

Is one a bootleg or are they both real but different versions?

This is kinda weird and I have a feeling not a lot of people are going to know anything about this game...it was rated poorly...but I had to try...I'm very curious now as to whats going on.

I believe the black and blue copy us the Japanese release. Hudson developed the game, and Konami published it.

Check the product code on the UMD to figure out where it's from.

aguy is correct; Hudson released the game in Japan. JP / Asian games don't usually have the ratings on the disc, only NA and European versions do.
