I seemed to be a bit confused about this. Which one came first, the white 4 Player Game logo or the red one? Gauntlet II has the white one while NES Play Action Football has the red one. The variant has the white logo?

Has anyone ever seen a white 4 player logo NES Play Action Football manual without the *? The * usually meant it was the final revision. That's fine and all but I'm pretty sure the red 4 player logo came afterwards but the manual does not have a * or even a -1. My only guess was they had no intention of a revision so they marked it as *. Then when a revision did come out they removed the *.

I have both of these manuals, no idea which came first.
