This category was my idea not to brag or anything :-). But this category will be used for discussing our favorite games, not prices, auctions, or stuff like that, pure fanboyism and hatred for your favorite games. So to start it off everyone post their favorite 3 games. 1.Legend Of Zelda 2. Super Mario 3 3. Bucky O Hare

Old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poking me in the ribs and cackling, telling me, "You're next." They stopped after I started doing the same thing to them at funerals.

"It's always amazing to me how some of the most worthless games from a gaming perspective tend to fetch outrageous amounts of money. But then again, it could be said that something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I'm curious if the high bidder of the $873.04 Stadium Events (cart-only) realizes that it's nowhere nearly as rare as about 20+ games I can think of that sell for 1/10th that amount?  At any rate, I wanted to draw attention to this trend: if people say it's rare, it must be true, and therefore it must be had at any price."

Yep, the rest are shall we say slightly less attractive, especially waterworld & virtual lab.

My mantra, as worded by SamSpade on 06/12/12:
I don't resell to fund my collection, I don't treat this hobby like a second job, I don't care if my collection is worth ten bucks or ten thousand because I never plan on selling it. Seriously, what does the value have to do with anything if you never plan on selling? Speculation doesn't mean jack shit to me at this point, I just want to play my nes games...

How can you narrow down the NES to 3 games?  Just 3?
I'd like to try to list them, but I feel like I'd be doing a disservice to so many games I love.  Not sure I could even come up with a top 20 list.  lol

Currently playing;
NES - WWF King of the Ring, Dragon Warrior IV
DS - Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland, DK Jungle Climber
Wii - Link's Crossbow Training

I'm glad this section of the forum is here now, it makes me want to post a bit more since I'm more into playing and not as hardcore as everyone else with the collecting haha So, thanks for getting this section here!

Three favorites?

1. Ninja Gaiden III: The Ancient Ship of Doom
2. Ninja Gaiden
3. Castlevania II: Simon's Quest

That sounds about right.
