^ Jonas, lol. Sorry, pet peeve of mine, but when I introduced myself as Jonas some people would say "Oh like the guy and the whale?" and I'd say no, that's Jonah.

Now I get, "Oh like the Jonas brothers?" and just shake my head in disbelief and say yeah.

Not bad at all, it seems .

Btw, I have a factory-sealed Bases Loaded 4, and it has a similar issue with the seam on the back (but similar to the issue on the right of the back, rather than on the left...it isn't straight by any stretch).

Hello all... I'm new to these forums, but I'm pretty glad I looked around a bit. I found an ad on craigslist touting several sealed NES games. I'm newer to collecting than you all it seems, but I've acquired an "ok" amount of stuff over the past couple years. So, I went to the site (pretty sure it's the same guy you all are talking about which has me concerned). Site was pretty decent, only has sealed NES games posted right now, but he says he has more stuff yet to come... Hands Free being an inviting piece to me. Anyway, I'm eager to pick up a bunch of his games because the prices seem decent and the games look good in the pictures. My concerns are this: a) does anyone know if this guy is legit to deal with (couldn't find him on ebay under the name you posted here - completethelist) and b) if so, what would you guys think is a good price to get a Hands Free for?

I got the games I bought and most of them were not perfect. BT / DD is probably bad enough I'm just going to open it myself, but BL4 / MUSCLE / Mario is Missing have already been sold to another member on here I'm happy since I about broke even and got some CIBs for free, but if you are expecting perfection then this is probably not for you.

he describes everything as "mint - no imperfections" but almost none are like that.

Bucky, I already made my money back, got a Near Mint / Mint CIBs of the games I sold off (BL4 , MUSCLE, Mario is Missing).  It's a win - win for me, so I could take that BT / DD and throw it directly in the trash and still break even financially and acquire a couple of good CIBs for free

His BL4 and Mario is Missing were dead mint though.

^ Thanks bucky but I wasn't literally going to throw it in the trash. I'll probably hold on to it and then open it whenever I feel like playing it. It'll still be good enough to pass for a CIB in my collection

I'm on the fence here. There's such mixed reviews. Maybe I'll just get a bunch of pics of the Hands Free. I know you guys are into games, but I really want to get my hands on that specific item. He did send me pics of the sealed games I was looking at and they seemed pretty darn close to mint if not mint. I know there are no "steals" left as he's got his prices set pretty close to accurate, but if I can get a deal I might take a chance.

Also, do you guys know anything about NES stuff like signage, collectibles, that sort of thing? Like I said I'm waiting on a list, but I'm under the impression there's a load of stuff to be had that never made it up on ebay (probably because of the problems you've all talked about).

This douchebag still owes me a sealed Golf Grand Slam.  I won a sealed one off him on ebay, so I sold my CIB one, expecting the selaed one to replace it in my collection.  Well, he got booted of ebay and I never got the game.

Jonas, BT/DD on the NES sucks. Don't open it to just play it. It is a shit game... now the SNES version is MUCH better.
