I noticed that there are a lot of great people here that are not getting recognized for their great conduct that is, for the most part, unseen in any other place on the internet.
maybe like an icon could be dedicated to that, or a small prize, i dunno just throwing it out there
Well we already have member spotlight in the eZine, which is basically member of the month.
------------------------- WTB CIB MINT Games: NES - SNES - N64 - Sega Genesis - Turbografx 16 Last Beat: West of Loathing (Switch)
Now Playing: Overcooked 2 (Switch) / Spider-Man (PS4) My eBay 10% off on NintendoAge!https://www.ebay.com/sch/jonebone...=
But Jonebone would win it every month. We have to give others a chance.
I don't need awards to know that I'm awesome, in the fullest capacity of the word

X2. The member spotlight is cool because it showcases a member and tells a little bit about them as a person. That seems like a viable alternative IMO.

well you guys seemed mature enough to vote without making it a popularity contest
I disagree. voting like this would almost always become a popularity contest. I think member spotlight is a pretty good route to go. i don't like to think that any person is better or worse than another, and that's what voting would do.

by far my favorite part of the e-zines. lets us get to know more about our community. lets the personality of the members show a little more giving more insight on how everyone got into the hobby of collecting. I like it.
if you had a vote for something like this, it would just be a popularity vote. I would always loose
I'd vote for you!!
The only way around the popularity contest would be if people would have to compete for the member spotlight. Could be a gaming contest, or something random like coming up with a sweet game design people could vote on.
